Yeah that's true it's true that's why just just advancing a stock Ignition a few degrees will give these setups ate drastically drastically snap your feel throughout the entire Power band, At least it will feel that way But Like Lucas said it's really all About what will Spin millions of times a minute And More importantly what won't fly off eventually.... I've used stock ignitions on higher RPM setups for the longest time and something always gives usually usually if you're lucky it'll just be the Woodruff key gets sheared off or ground smooth, If you're thinking about keeping your electrical and you're looking at the stelletra Honestly that is what I was gonna go with when this MV this M V-2 didn't seem like it was up to the job anymore And I do ask a lot out of my Builds. . . But yeah that Ignition is basically exactly the same as far as I can tell to the MHR team Ignition But honestly that's what I would go for at half the price you can add on ACD I later if you really wanted to go there and you'll still have a good base to build off of as it uses the same parts as the malosi ones. AS FAR AS I CAN TELL*

But is there any big difference between 03 & 05+ motors I need to look out for? Or was that just something the vendor had written on the items? I hate spending a bunch of $ on parts, waiting a month to get them, and then they don't fit lmao

Not sure what you mean by 03 and 05 motors pretty sure what you have is a hiper-2 block that were used on alot of European two strokes. there was a little difference in the older ones like pre98 that had smaller rear pulleys and no bearing I the cvt case. I don't think ,oh will have any problems as far as getting the right components as long as they are for piaggio 50cc platform , other than gears like I said. this stuff is harder to find the minarelli but it's worth the extra effort I many cases.

Iam pretty sure the base is all the same on the piaggio motors, air and watercooled, from the early 90's for the Sfera up until the last model Runner or NRG.
But the cylinders, intake and exhaust systems changed over time.

I can say the transmission as a whole is way more hefty than the bikes I've been building so it's rather exciting! I have plans for a stage6 clutch & bell along with some molassi gears. What belt are people running on these higher HP setups? Is Bando the best option for scooters as well? I have run the s6 sport belt, and found it not as snappy as the stock Piaggio belt that came with the engine, sure that shimminh perfectly would help vut stock belt is longer which makes me think it will get more travel . . . I just ordered a mallosi belt to see the difference, I'll let u know. I run stock variator with a stage six fixed half really surprised that the old belt hasn't busted and still performs the best.... I honestly don't even know if there's much more to be gained for a overrange system or if they even exist due to the fact that the measurements for the stock variator Waiting all are exactly the same as the overran For minerally! same with rear pulley size , I would only imagine that to get a after market racing CBT will justeeper or better sloped angles and angles in the torque driver but not actually give you anymore Belt travel.

You'd need a read pulley that closes further so the belt can sit taller on takeoff, and then allows the belt to go deeper at your top speed, then you'd need a belt that is actually a bit longer to make up for the additional travel or you're snapping your crank. Typically this isn't achievable, just delaying your shift as long as possible with angles and stiffer springs so you can take more advantage of the additional RPMs

So it looks like they were able to cancel out the stage6 pipe and replace it with the 2Fast pipe so thank you guys for the heads up in catching that! Now I sit back and wait for the parts to cross the pond to the USA!

Alright so I ordered the MVT ignition along with a Stage6 clutch and bell.
So I'm going to have this unregulated CDI setup in addition when everything's delivered so I'd anybody needs a brand new CDI setup I'll have one for sale!

Anyone have input on the best rear pulley option? Can't believe I completely forgot to order a rear pulley... I got a set of 15/38 gears to play with but looking for a pulley that will give the most top speed capacity

So as I was pulling the cases apart I broke a chunk of the stock case off. Nothing i couldnt live without, a mount point for the plastic flywheel cover. But I decided to go with the Malodsi C-One case instead of running these stock cases with this build. Just feel like it would be the better idea in this scenario.
