Had to open up the new C-One case to accept the Stage6 crank. Ended up doing it by hand with a rotary tool, all in all it came out good but not pretty. I had to open up the transfers to accept the 95cc skirt, and open up the adapter plate to match. I also smoothed out the "trench" in this case design to eliminate all the hard angles of the transfers so mix should move much easier into the cylinder. Polished the internals up to make it as slippery as possible inside. Crank will be going in soon!

Have to give you credit, not many people would cut into a fresh brand new set of C1 cases 😳👍

Also ordered some gears to play with. Malossi Wheel shaft, Malossi trans cover, primary & secondary gears. Rear pulley and front variator are oversized so an oversized pulley is on the way. Interested to see what kind of top speed I can pull on this thing. I've heard of an Aprilla with the S6 95cc kit breaking 90mph near me

Got the crank installed BUT it's binding up somewhere at right about BDC. Doesn't look like it's hitting the cases so not sure what or why it would get caught like that in one spot of the rotation

Might just need to centre the crank. A light tap on each side with a mallet usually works.

I read someone else explaining this and tried tapping it on both sides with a rubber mallet but no dice. I'm pulling it back apart to inspect further. It was worse when the case was still hot. Once it cooled down it got easier but still snags so I need to double check the clearance. I think it's catching on the small case half somewhere and can't risk running it if that's the case.
Was a pain in the ass cutting the cases by hand so I wouldn't be surprised if need to take a little more material off somewhere on that case.

Seems like you've got a high spot in there, look it over closely, should see a rub spot...

I poured 2T oil on the crank and spun it a few times and started seeing a trail of grey on one side of the crank so I think I definitely have a high spot, I'm waiting on a real crank puller since o normally use a 2 Jaw puller and don't want to screw this case up. Once it's here I'll see the real issue

Need some help here, I cannot get the variator side seal to go on properly. I've tried installing the crank then seal, and the opposite and it ends up like this either way. I have to assume the Stage6 crank uses a different seal but even the Stage6 seals I got did this. If anybody can tell me what I'm doing wrong I'd greatly appreciate it!

Are you greasing the seal when installing it? What are you using to install it? The Piaggio seal is 19x30x7mm. That 1mm might be the difference.
