Back home again. Three polyps removed, five internal hemorrhoids removed and banded, several smaller external roids removed and cauterized. Then they packed my colon with expanding foam to hold stuff in place and absorb intestinal secretions. I’m kinda sore. You were warned about that BOHICA thingy. You just didn't listen. I see you will get your gender affirming surgery next. Are you signed up for singing soprano in the choir?

You will make a fine choir member. The fine facial expression goes with that BOHICA moment. Remember you are asleep and just one slip of the knife... I remember waking up with my nuts disconnected. Has caused me trouble for 40 years. I need a rhoid removed also. I have been putting it off for 25 years. It seems cutting on people is never a good idea. There are permanent consequences. I am due for RF ablation (microwave cook) in September on veins in my leg to stop lower leg edema(swelling). Maybe I will be able to walk without pain again. The dentist will also be replacing an old crown next month. I will be in pain on both ends. Getting OLD sucks.

The good news I have been waiting for came this afternoon. 100% financial aid for the expensive Keytruda treatment. The infusion Dr. called me and said he has an opening tomorrow morning so I guess I get started on the year long treatment tomorrow. I dont know why but I am quite a bit apprehensive about this treatment, the surgery did not worry me one bit (hardly) but this I dont know about.

I takes a while for hormone shifts to affect other areas of the body. It may be easier for him to notice when he starts needing a brassiere. You can't trust them damn doctors or nurses in the OR. -They take liberties...
My next two surgeries are 2 and 3 weeks away. I am supposed to be awake for those, -I hope. They use catheters threaded through large veins in the legs so they could easily put me under. I don't like anesthesia and would probably notice. The first time they put me under 50 years ago I broke one ordrly's arm and bit another when I woke up. They were not happy with me. It is on my records so they use restraints now. They also have better anesthetics.

I woke from anesthesia Monday like an alarm clock went off in a bright room. Not groggy at all Friday, same drug but I think they didn’t let me sleep as long. I woke up like I was a bit drunk. Slurring words. Fortunately I’m a happy drunk so all was good.

Took my second infusion of Keytruda yesterday, so far only mild side effects. A little fatigue and some itching. Arrived home, opened the mail to find a letter from Merrick saying no financial aid for the treatment now? No explination, so I'll be calling urologist office to see what is going on now.
