Still I came across this Hyosung Cruise 2 125cc today. Been off road since 2012 and dry stored. Needs new tank as leaking and obviously tyre's, battery etc. Tomorrow we dig it out.

Wait till Yolanda finds out. She knows it's for my boy Owen unless I find him something else first and then it might be mine. 😇

It may have been in a dry place but it looks corroded as hell from salt and moisture from the air. I agree with oldgeek

Bike back on trailer everything is free moving. Going check if it fires up later after the usual checks first.

And today after working on my other son's bike up in Llanbadarn Fawr ready for our camping trip with a little bit left to finish I stopped on the way home at the garage to measure up what fuel tap the Hyosung needs and thought kick it over and video is the result. Not cleaned carb just stuck a pipe up to the handlebars from carb and filled up with a syringe to top but no joy last night and this afternoon first kick and away after 9 years standing. Reminds me of the woody Allen film with the VW beetle that was sat for decades and just started first turn of the key

A friend of mine has the same bike and he loved it when it was running. Its been sat in his garden for about 2 years now with a blown engine.
