The bearing and wheelnut and rubber block is just to space it out, just happened to be things to hand at the time laying about. Hence bodged till proper tap comes along 🙂 Been there done that before. Why else would my name be FrankenMech. I used parts and pieces of machines laying about to make things. Not as much as I used to though, -just getting too old to even pick up parts, much less make anything. I should change my name to FrankenStupidOldMoron nowadays. We may not be able to do what we use to FrankenMech but we still have the knowledge within to pass onto the younger generation if they will listen.

They say "Spare the rod and spoil the child." I never used a rod so I guess it is my fault.
My son and daughter don't even talk to me.

Lambretta coming back home, son Owen has found a 2010 Suzuki GN125H. Guess who has just bought new tyres and tubes hammered and heated a rear spindle to get it out. Got lad in garage on case doing 4 wheels with tyres and tubes after I punctured one. Other two wheels are for the Peugeot Pox. Sorting the headlight, put fork qaiters on for now till he gets new fork legs and finally the fuel tap with inbuilt filter which after cleaning doesn't leak or disintegrated like must plastics and rubber with age. Must be because it's Japanese. Only headlight to finish and wheels put back and ready for MOT and off.

Kid on the tire machine would have more time to be productive if his pants were not falling off... I guess it is fashionable for some to have butt cheeks showing ready for butt sex...

Boys bike finished and road tested and ready for MOT Monday. Deffo needs new front forks but Owen can pay for those.

You are the Welsh Motor-Scoot/Cycle Puppet MASTER! A very tired one who after a doze FrankenMech and has just awoken and not sure if morning or evening and now has to clear the pile of puppet stuff and collect a box from my unit to put puppet stuff in. All lithium bicycle batteries have been moved to a safe place and all new scooter parts in the shed. It's a good job I not allowed my motor tools in the house or there would be more stuff to organise. Not that I haven't sneaked them in before to do the odd scooter job providing it doesn't make a mess like oily things and Yolanda is asleep. 😊

Well didn't make it to the unit FrankenMech for other stuff as rain stopped playing. It can happen tomorrow. At least clearer for now, better once more organised and got a piece of furniture to fit it all in soon once measured up when all puppets here.

I keep a couple clocks set on military 24 hour time just so I know whether it is morning or evening without taking a peek outside to look at the Sun. I should be able to look at the light coming in a window but that takes way too many brain cells. I have to conserve because I don't have many left. It won't do much good to get another furniture to house all the puppets since your collection will always be expanding like scooter parts.
The bad things are when the wife finds her oven being used to powder coat parts or the dishwasher used to clean engine parts or rags in the clothes washer... Those things will keep you sleeping outside or if you are lucky on the couch for months.

I have rebuilt a couple of scooter engines in the kitchen. I made sure to clean up though. She was watching. 👀 For a couple of years just after we moved in together. I kept my TZR250 in the hallway after someone tried to take it. I don't think that would fly today.

LOL!
It took one of those Human detector thingy programs a long time yesterday to figure out if I was human. The pictures were poor and grainy and I apparently was not getting my selections right. I just about gave up. Maybe giving up would have proved me to be an irritable old HUMAN.
I liked the old 'Rumpole of the Bailey' show (if I spelled that right). "She was watching 👀" reminds me of "She who must be obeyed".
