Well son's motorbike didn't pass the MOT today, new headlight on order, cheaper than a reflector on its own which it failed on so thought might as well buy the new forks as well it could do with and oil and filter before he takes it away after re test which is free up to 10 working days. At least the new garage dog Rolo loves me.

Reflector in the headlight. You are talking about the mirror on the inside of the light? Where are you getting the forks from? You know he would thank you if you fitted some 10" longer ones. Going with the style of the bike.

milly runs a custom chopper shop now. He has a long white beard, has tattoos covering every inch of his body. He wears a sleeveless leather jacket, no shirt, wide leather belt with dinner plate buckle, spiked collar, and leather chaps only...

New forks in, new forks out. Still got the wheel pointing to the left when the handlebars are straight ahead. Does not appear to be the frame but was working in semi light tonight. There's a small dent on the tank right hand side as you are sitting astride the bike and the bump stop has been damaged. I am hoping when I checked the yoke's tomorrow it is only that or the fork bearing cups. Mind you I think if it was the fork bearing cups you would see a lean out one way or the other on the wheel. Never had to investigate this sort of problem before.

Found out today both top and bottom yokes are bent on one side so ordered them and new cones and bearings. Old bearings removed ready with professional tools of course.

Same tools many professionals would use... LOL Big prybar and a BFH.
Are you going to make the 10 day limit for the MOT?

I will be very lucky to make it FrankenMech but might get the bits in time. Bearings arrived today but they were wrong so old cup's will be used.

Once the cups are rusty they never roll great Milly. When ever I've replaced them I always use loads of grease. Waiting for parts that then turn out to be wrong is frustrating. I waited three weeks for a stand once. Then it was about an inch too short.
