I ordered from them a month ago and yes it takes about 3 to 5 weeks to get parts from them. They do not have any parts here in the U.S. Everything comes from their warehouse in Germany, arrives in Miami, sits in customs, released from customs in a week and a half, gets to their office and then is redirected to the buyer. If you are patient then they are a great alternative to SIP and other euro parts sites. In my case I needed a coolant temp sensor & a piston ring for my 70cc LC aprilia, most euro sites charge 45euros for shipping whereas RacingPlanetUSA charged me $13 us via UPS.
Cons: I didn't like that I was charged sales tax for parts that came from Germany. No parts are in stock here in the U.S. The extremely long wait will have you questioning if this company is a scam (they are not).
Pros: No $100 minimum order like at SIP. Great for people with euro scoots who need a few odds and ends shipped at a reasonable price. Free shipping on orders over $100

Cons: I didn't like that I was charged sales tax for parts that came from Germany. No parts are in stock here in the U.S. The extremely long wait will have you questioning if this company is a scam (they are not). they have to have a physical location in the us and its in fl otherwise there would be no sales tax im sure with the closeing of scootercraft they proably ramped up there expasion to the us and are still trying to figure out what to stock in the us but even when i order from other business that may have to order from europe for there stock its the same thing funny thing is you can have it shiped from europe to you a lot faster then a business shipping an item from europe but they did have some stock as what ever scootercraft didnt sell out went into there warehouse in fl www.corporationwiki.com/Florida/Coral-Gables/racing-planet-usa-inc/67622080.aspxand when you plug the adress in on there website it shows up in a strip mall area so they must have a retail shop

I dont think a month plus wait for parts is going to be good for bizz? Happens to me again and i wont order again. Shipping should be free at that rate. That would really suck to pay for shipping and still wait for over a month! The fact that they didnt get a 2 piece order to me in one shipment honestly doesn't look good either. Then the fact that i almost had to proove they didnt get me my parts to me the first time around. Well, that left a bad taste in my mouth.... I will try again sometime and go from there

The only way i am ever ordering from RP USA again is for little parts for my aprilia that are too expensive to get any other way. Things like cylinder kits and exhausts are about $50-$100 more expensive at RP USA. For large orders, you better use SIP. Unless you must have things like stage 6 for example that sip doesn't carry. 2stokd and I had a long wait time both and I don't think its a coincidence. they really do not have parts in stock here. All the parts I ordered showed as available on the site but then i asked the parts are taking so long to ship they say that the parts have to come from their german warehouse. I personally think that they wait for enough of us to place enough orders and then they send everything in one container. Otherwise they would loose their but on shipping because they are only really charging us to ship from miami.

just got this email Racing Planet USA [sales@racingplanetusa.com]
speed up our USA deliveries Dear Clients,
Here at Racing Planet USA we are happy to announce we have reached a global logistics agreement with UPS to speed up our USA deliveries. The last two months we have had a few shipments held by US customs, all these issues as of today have been resolved. UPS Express will be doing both our brokerage and thanks to our volume all our orders will move from Germany to the USA in less than 5 days without paying exorbitant fees.
We promise to give you the best possible service, brands, pricing, and quality in the future that many of you have come to expect from Racing Planet.
Now we can focus on stocking and adding more parts in our US facility.
Our plan for the next few months is to work on stocking more parts than ever in the United States. In the coming weeks you will notice an abundance of in stock items with the US Flag on our website meaning it will be in stock for same day shipping from the US warehouse.
In addition here is a 10% off coupon for all our existing clients. We apologize if you experienced any delays as we began our process here in the United States. Thank you for your support.

2strokd I really have to hand it to you. You have a lot more patients than I.. I understand companies have growing pains, and during these times one needs to be patient while they work thru them, but wow.. Really my hats of to you.
