Well I guess my luck finally ran out with them. I ordered a few thing on 9/13/14. Still nothing and the last response I got about a week ago was that customs was holding things up. Sounds like they have that problem a lot.

RP sent my parts yesterday by mule. You'd think they might send it expedited since it's in the same state and I've been waiting over a month. The $9.99 shipping I paid is the same as I pay for fed ex home delivery and get the next day at partsforscooters. This order is due to arrive Friday. I'm done with Racing Planet and their piss poor shipping and excuses!

Well I sent them my complaint and they responded with customs problem. They also said that they would surely give me a refund if I want. I guess they ran out of t-shirts to give out.

Racing Planet USA is not worth dealing with. A lot of their parts are listed wrong, I've got parts for scoots I don't even own. And if you don't check and complain within 14 days they won't swap them out after that. I ordered a rear shock for my gilera runner and they sent one for a Vespa PX, I called up because I could see that the mount was totally wrong, here's what they said. "The part is listed for gilera and will fit but may require fabricating by a professional".That was the last straw for me. Mistakes and delay is one thing, lies and scamming people is too much.
Now I order from easy parts in the Netherlands, much better, take a bit longer but after many thousands in orders not one wrong part, much higher quality parts too. Stay away from RP, you've been warned.

So this thread seems to have died a while back but I thought I would put in a quick two cents on my experience. I've only had two orders with them, but so far, I'm pretty happy. Was it the fastest turn around? Not really. Most of my parts were small pieces that I had trouble finding elsewhere, mainly gaskets, sleeves, small odds and ends stuff. They had to come from the European warehouse, but I was glad that they had the parts I needed, and they were reasonable on price and shipping.

Everything arrive within about a week and was well packed. Parts were as advertised, nothing shady or off about the products. Everything arrived in the time frame they told me it would, they kept up communication, and all parts fit the bike the way they were supposed to. That's really all I can ask.

In the last order they were nice enough to send me a coupon. Good timing cause my back brake is a bit squishy and they just happen to have a good assortment of shoes. Are they spying on me? Lol.

So far I'm happy their services and they are on my list of trusted suppliers.

I've ordered a few things from them. The stuff did take a little longer than most other places but honestly there customer service I feel is great they respond right away and are super helpful. They have some decent parts and good prices. As of right now if I was in a super rush for something I probably wouldn't order from them but they helped me a bunch they swapped a order I placed on a card I didn't have anymore and couldn't get money refunded and I wanted a naraku camshaft which they told me naraku wasn't making anymore at the time but messaged me back and said they have a jml cam that just came in and was not up on the site yet and that it was made in same plant as the naraku I got it within a week and it made my scoot hella better all around. but def takes a longer shipping than others

I placed an order with RacingPlanet on Oct 1. ( gear up kit for my Vino clone ).

I got a notification saying that the parts had to shipped from Europe so I was cool with waiting. About 10 days later I got a notification that the parts were in and shipped from their US location. A few days later, I got the parts, exactly as I ordered with 2 day priority. I will certainly buy from them again.

I do not like racing planet. I bought a pair of over priced Kymco decals, and they only sent me 1 and failed to tell me that it was out of stock. mediocre service at best. and all of their parts are over priced
