I've spent about $400 with them in the last three years and always had good luck and prompt service from them. Of course, I am THE charter member of their USA division. (Last six digits of my cust. no. are (000001)

I've only ordered once from them and it went fine. I had to return a taillight that was too small but it worked out.

I have also ordered from them a few times with no problems at all.
In fact I have a order I just put in with them last week, everything is coming from overseas, so I will let you all know how it goes.

If I order something and they know its going to be a few weeks I guess I would have just appreciated the heads up. Instead I'm left e-mailing them and getting (multiple) bullshit answers. I also feel like if its going to take 3 1\2 weeks to get something stateside maybe they would consider sending it faster then UPS ground. It was just a very poorly handled transaction on their part.

To their defense the website does state if parts are located in the US or not. And somewhere on the site thy explain this. So if it doesn't say in stock USA next to it chances are the part is located in Europe. I have ordered from them many times with no issues and great customer service !

When i ordered a rear shock and a malossi filter from them 4 weeks ago the website said both items were in stock in the US. Called back asking about order status only to be told that the filter had to come from italy..WTF? and that the entire order will ship in the next week. Week and a half later and call back again. They remind that filter has to come from italy..again but will ship next week. Never again..

Last order from them on 7/8/14 arrived 8/7/14. Apparently they had several of their packages held up in customs, which is out of their control but still sucks if you are waiting on an order.
I will continue to order from them occasionally, knowing that it may be a while before I get it.

I've waited about 10 days for parts they had to get from their Europe warehouse and a day or two for a part they had here in Florida. Guess I'm lucky. I don't trust their parts list for fitting on scoots they list them for.

Have any of you ever gotten phone calls from them from having an item in your shopping cart but not purchasing it? That happened to me a couple of weeks ago. The item was a Malossi O/R tranny for my 02 Derbi (Piaggio) Red Bullet. I was uncertain if I had the proper item in my cart and queried the female sales person about the right one (there were like five packages). Turns out I had the wrong one in my cart. I, however, declined to order at the time as there are other items I wished to add which I'd not settled on yet.

I've ordered from them a few times now with no major problems till this last order. I ordered a simple carb adaptor plate for my wife's Kymco YUP 50 on 7/16, the website said it was in stock in USA. Turns out it wasn't but I didn't find that out till 2-3 days later, and I'm still waiting for my adaptor plate. I sent them an email requesting info on my order and 3 days later I got a reply saying that they've got boxes still stuck in customs and they're "HOPING" my items in one of those boxes. Not at all happy with them on this order and undecided if there will be anymore.

I received my order on 8/16/2014 so it only took them 4 weeks (to the day) to get my adaptor plate to me after they said 6-10 days. With the shipping they used I can go to the post office and ship something out for $5.65, they charged me $10. Also instead of shipping my part directly to me from Europe like the rest of the parts shops would've, I had to wait for them to stock there inventory in USA warehouse then ship to me from there USA warehouse. Naturally they won't ship inventory till they order a certain # of items so I had to wait for them to reach that number. Needless to say, I'M VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED with this transaction.

Wouldn't it be great if Parts For Scooters would expand their line to include high end performance parts for Minarelli and Piaggio 2t autos. Their service is stellar in my experience with them.

Im very annoyed with RP but they seem to stock the most stuff for my kymco. Since the beginning of the summer I've ordered $1000(5 or 6 orders) in goodies. Any time the order had anything that wasn't in the US took at least a month for me to get. They also fail when it comes to getting stock replacement parts right. I needed the lil bumper pads that go on the engine mount, they sent an engine bushing. Got it touch with them, they said well fix it and sent me another engine bushing. Got a hold of them again and they finally got the bumper pad out to me, after I literally drew them a picture how the part mix up is happening(wrong part numbers on part bags). That wasn't the last time though. I ordered a rear fender, they send me a side skirt, then held my next order until they received the skirt back cuz of it's cost(they reimbursed me for shipping). I was never given any coupons to make things better. There's also been two times where I ordered something that was in stock just to get an email in a few days saying their stock number was off and they are out.
So what it comes down to. If the parts aren't in the US, you will get them in about a month. If you order stock replacements using the exploded diagrams, chances are you will get the wrong part unless you ask them to verify the part with the diagram. They will make sure you get the right part but it may take a while. I give them a 5/10 for being slow and sending wrong parts. Thank goodness my kymco is almost done, once it is I will never order from RP again.

Since I run a Piaggio it seems that little of what I need is ever in the U.S. If my memory serves me correctly the longest I've waited on an order is like eight days and certainly no more than ten. I have not ordered anything from them in about a year though.

I've been checking around and it looks like SIP has Kymco parts also, and they're more dependable with shipping.
