I ordered a crankshaft and some small bits, all shown in stock in their US warehouse, just after 8AM Tuesday the 7th. They shipped on the 8th (free shipping via FedEx). I received the order Friday the 10th. This was from FL to MD. No complaints, WDBWA.

I finally ordered something labeled as "in the US" and it actually was !!! Problem is, its a piston and here is how the box looked when i opened the bigger box it was in. The bigger box wasnt damaged so i assume the piston box was like this upon shipping?. Believe it or not, the piston nor rings appear damaged at all.

I posted a pic on fb but not on RP,s wall. In fact, i never even mentioned it to RP as i dont think there is any damage.?
I just checked my email to see this though.

i order my cylinder kit from them this july and it was coming from spain they sent me an email to let me know it would take longer than normal, and when they received it they would ship to me 4 days later they sent me an email to let me know that they had received it and is was being shipped and gave me the tracking number 3 days later the kit was at my house, so i had ordered on a friday and had it the next friday not too bad and i will say that the price was good too

Do NOT EVER use Racing Planet!! I own a scooter performance shop and I did a big order with them. It took like 9 weeks for their unorganized asses to get the order together. Then I build the scooter for my customer and I go to take a test ride. It goes for about 30 feet and then wont move. I thought I snapped a belt so I pulled the cover off and belt was fine. The problem ended up being the Top Racing gear up kit. The gear was just slipping on the shaft! I contacted Racing Planet and they basically said there is nothing they can do as it could have been an installation error!! What a joke! I have probably installed 100 gear up kits and this is clearly a manufacturing error! DONT USE THEM!!

I ordered a "Top" kit from them on May 28th it was just shipped last Friday June 16th (though that's when the slip was made it wasn't actually dropped off till Saturday the 17th around 2pm). very unhappy with the service provided - sent a weekly e-mail asking what was going on and the only response I got was from someone who was obviously German (not state side) telling me that Germany was on Holiday for the first week, then it was delayed in customs.
As long as it comes in and nothing is broken no harm/no foul I guess... but, in my job expectations of customer service are higher.

I'll never order from them again. Took a month and a half to get a set of tires... I could swim to Germany and back in a month and a half. Lol. Never again
