o.k here is what I did today with the clutch and variator I tried the 1k Clutch springs and 2k Torque spring and 7g and 9g rollers ran like crap no take off and no top end
I then tried 2k Torque Spring and 2k Clutch Springs with 8g and 9g rollers ran like crap spit and sputtered I place the 7g and 9g back in no sputter I added a uni-filter it runs a lot better with very little sputter I do believe I need heaver roller weights I am a measly 130 pounds I got the take off back I haven't took her out to check the top end I may do that tomorrow and let everyone know how that goes
Got another question if I use these 2k Torque and clutch Springs on a stock clutch will this burn my clutch up? I have a guy keeps telling me it will

i dont think so stock clutches usually last... y dont u try the 1k torque spring i'm thinking the 2k is to much for your scoot motor..

I have the 1.5k torque spring and 1.5k clutch springs already set up in another clutch to try today

ok try this one 1.5k torque an 1k clutch springs with 7g or 8g weights 2.try stock torque spring and 2k clutch springs with 6g or 7g weights im just throwing ideas out there... or may b u should just try 1 upgrade run it an c what happens.then try the next one....

I put the other clutch on with 1.5k torque and clutch springs with 8g rollers and made a big difference what little space I had to test it was half throttle 30mph on the speedo I need to take her for a longer ride to test the speed..
I am getting a popping from the carb not for sure if it is due to the uni filter or needing to up jet the carb I am going to take out the plug and check to see if she does need to be up jetted

it is still stock it isn't a sealed carb I have no idea what jets it has in it
could that be the reason it is sputtering

got another question I have a hose from the valve cover that went into the air box I took the air box off and put a uni filter what can I do with this hose ? is there anywhere I can run it to I know when I hold my finger over it will build up pressure so I know capping it off is out of the question

do you think a #95 main jet and a #30 Pilot jet will help I am not for sure what Pilot jet to try

got another question I have a hose from the valve cover that went into the air box I took the air box off and put a uni filter what can I do with this hose ? is there anywhere I can run it to I know when I hold my finger over it will build up pressure so I know capping it off is out of the question yes capping it will force oil out seals and otherwise generally ruin an engine. this is total ghetto but i put my CV hose on top of my foam filter. this does too things. the oil vapors are sucked up and re-burnt without leaving slimley streak somewhere and it oils the foam filter automatically. i just turn the filter 90 everytime i have to carb access open. i do plan on getting a $5 stainless water bottle, JB 2 nipples on it, one for the CV and another for the vacuum. install a vac port into my air cleaner, put a $2.95 PC valve in line and viola, PCV.

I also have high performance variator with a set of 5g 7g and 9g rollers wanting to mix and match to get better performance out of them also im well under 5g for my rollers and may go slightly ligher as my accelerating RPMS are 7400 and cruise is around 6800. i think i want about 400-500 more RPMs. im hopping to acculy get a touch more top end as i cannot break 8500. on my 39mm i could do 11k.
