I started it yesterday at -10C Started and ran fine, but there was always some white smoke, I was thinking there was a coolant leak in the combustion chamber... I dismounted the cyl. head cover ( bad idea at 30C but at -10C it takes a lot of time to just reheat the engine) and it continued smoking white and exhaust was always wet and throwing water like it happened on the SR50. I was worried... Finally, my finger sticked in the carburetor... And I opened the gas tank and saw that the gas was nearly frozen, full of water. Big issue avoided  I'll start working on it during the Christmas school break. No time with the exams at this time. |

Brought a big block of clay and some super cheap 3M fiberglass to make some brackets and stuff. I'm thinking about keeping the Jog seat for the zuma ( no good fairings anyway) then just put a fiberglass or aluminum seat for the Jog. Too much pain to make the bracket to hold the oem seat...
2 weeks of school then Christmas break... can't wait to work on it!

If I don't use it on the Jog, I'll use it on the zuma, light and comfy  Yours like to be fitted well. There's some material on eBay to make memory foam seats which looks nice and which is not that expensive. |

Tore the Jog apart. I'll call a friend tonight to make an engine mount... a little special if we find the necessary stuff ! I might consider another engine case... mine seems to be curved. Every CVT cover I put on seems to be hard to seat evenly on the case, like if the case curved... Don'T want to crack it during a race. Might found an Ovetto case which is ported by a professional.
