just pay attention to heat, detonation, preignition etc sounds. a key way too knowing when a stinger is too small is when you can smell the packing melt.. be very observant and have fun!

You can also try Polaris part # 0451077. That's the inlet off of a Polaris Sportsman 90.

thanks brent....
i have been out in the garage trying to get the cvt tuned in a bit....i have the clutch set to the lowest engagement setting and 7g rollers...the problem im having is that its shifting before the clutch is engaging.....it pulls pretty hard as is but im loosing some low end by it shifting before the clutch engages...i dropped to 4g rollers just to see if that would make the clutch engage before it started shifting.....it didn't seam to change anything but with 4g rollers it reved to the moon before the scooter moved...what should i change to keep it from shifting before the clutch engages?

Is the belt free in the variator? If the variator squeezes the belt it will drive the rear pulley faster so the clutch springs are less effective.

the only tension on the belt is whats created by the torque spring.....i have it set to where the belt is almost touching the boss and the belt is almost even with the top of the rear pulley......everything moves nicely......

Oops. My brain is in reverse or something. The stuff I mentioned makes the clutch engage too soon, not too late.
Did it seem like excessive space between the clutch and bell? What RPM is it engaging at?

does not look like excessive space to me...looks about the same as stock....clutch is a 104mm and bell is 105...unsure of rpm....i dont have a tach....im going to borrow my buddies when i get a chance....
