I ordered a 49ccScoot.Com decal for each side from e-decals.com. They're black and gray. I think I'm gonna keep kind of a monotone thing going here. I also picked up 6 black dice with white dots on ebay for $3 shipped. I think I'm gonna drill and tap those and attach a couple through the rear holes under the signals. Might be stupid, might be cool... not sure yet. The tan plastics are cleaning up alright so far. A bit discolored from the sun, but it doesn't matter. I think they might look cool painted flat black. Reminds me of muscle cars with flat black hoods or accents. Kinda fitting for a retro. I don't need the high temp for my plastics, but I love this paint. The toughest and easiest to use stuff I've found so far. Goes on smooth, dries fast, handles high temps, pretty durable. Should look kinda the opposite of the SunL when it's done. The two things I'm not sure about : 1.) The tan seat. Hopefully this doesn't look weird on a black and silver scoot. I'd really rather not recover it. 2.) The tan floorboard. I'm not sure if I wanna use the high temp BBQ black like the panels or some plastic specific paint. Constant contact with shoes will wear it off quick. Hopefully the floor mat will keep scuffing to a minimum.

Boppers arrived today. No new wheel though. New coil came in too. I replaced the stock boot with an NGK.

If you cut a piece of black indoor/outdoor carpet to fit the floorboard and take it to an upholstery shop they can sew a black edge banding on it so it doesn't fray. You could use some screws to hold it down or Velcro it or it would probably just lay there. Just a thought...
I went to buy a can of silver spray paint just the other day and I saw some paint at O'reilly auto parts that was supposedly formulated specifically for vinyl seats.

I just picture getting up with a black butt using that vinyl paint on a seat. I'm probably wrong about that. I sprayed a trim panel in my car with some color matched interior spray because I couldn't find it in black for a decent price at the time (sometimes black Mustang interior parts are pricey or not for sale). It seems to be quite durable... then again I'm not sitting on it and sliding rivets and seams of jeans and stuff over it.

I got the new rear wheel in today, so I mounted the Bopper. 120/90/10 looks pretty beefy next to that stock 90/90/10. Apparently too beefy. I even cut away part of the case just to be able to squeeze the tire in. 90/90/10 should be 16.4" tall and 3.5" wide. 120/90/10 should be 18.5" tall and 4.7" wide. If I can find something 17-17.5" tall and 4-4.25" wide it should be about perfect. A 100/90/10 would be 17.1" tall and 3.9" wide. I imagine that will be the closest I can get. Kinda disappointing after looking at this thing. I got the SP3 in today. Very pleased so far. I was going to mount it right after I got the wheel on. It came with brackets and a gasket that it said it didn't include and the scratches were easily touched up. Sweet deal @ $45.

Michelin makes one half decent, not great, tire in 100/90/10. Anyone know the diameter of a 4.00x10 tire? I found that a 3.50x10 is somewhere between 80/100/10 and 90/100/10. That would make it around 16.5" tall.

Jeremey says a 4.0x10 is about 19" tall, way too much. I found a couple of tires that are 110/80/10. That comes out to 4.3"W x 16.9"T. I think that would be the beefiest thing I can squeeze in there. 110 might still be pushing it though. www.bikebandit.com/scooter-110-80-10-scooter-tires/c/a642336a4a6a662356a706792I'd probably go with the Michelin. Liking those so far. What do you guys think? Try to push it and risk another that may not fit or be safe and go with a 100/90/10?

I ordered the 110/80/10. I don't mean to ask and then ignore suggestions, but when I looked at it again I think the 110/80/10 is just as safe of a bet. It's the height that's getting me now. It's so tall that I can't rotate the tire. The 110/80/10 is just slightly shorter than the 100/90/10. The 110/80/10 will also give me 1/5" on each side that I don't have with the 120/90/10.

I got the marker light sockets in. Took a little filing to make them fit, but they work. I can get rid of those ugly hanging blinkers. Got my decals in and applied them. They miss 1 hole on each side, but oh well. Drilled and tapped the dice and added a few to each fender to fill holes.

I got those decals made at e-decals.com Lots of colors, small to huge. I paid $27 shipped for just 2 decals though. Without the outline or shadow you could probably knock that down to $23 for 2. Pretty pricey. I don't mid the markers really. Kinda fit the whole retro deal, like an old Caddy or something. I do dig those chrome skull overlays. ;D If I changed 'em I think there's an easier option. The front lights from the SunL should fit, and the rear may too. Not sure.
