Ok, by the time you are finished i'm sure it will be evil, and it's a retro so...."Wicked Past"?
Then when you get speeding tickets you can say "It's not my fault, it's just my wicked past".

The retro name made me think of "Greased Lightning" from Grease. You'd need a lightning bolt though. You def took the sweetness out of it ;D
I guess I don't have retro names for my "Evil Baron" or the unnamed grey one, which shall be goin white, and shall be called "Angel".

Ive been waiting on a part to try a conversion. Something I've never tried before. I spent some time on eBay and got a few decent deals to try and convert the 10" drum brake "leading arm" suspension to a 12" disc brake front end. $20 12" Wheel $40 Complete Front Brake Assembly $25 Front Forks The 12" wheel I chose isn't gonna work. Even if it did, the steering stem tapers up to a larger diameter so it won't fit the tube. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

No. I painted the front wheel. The brake assembly is worth keeping around at that price. The forks are form a salvage place that says no returns.

Thanks. i hate masking wheels to keep the rim, but it does make it look more professional... unless you just want to black it all out like T1. ;D

I decided to get this thing going with the stock wheel so I could get out and ride it. It runs pretty well. It started out with 5g rollers and I moved up to 6g. I think the 6g are still too light. No speedometer on it yet, but I'd guess it goes about 45MPH. This is the first scoot I've owned with standard gears. I used 4g rollers in everything up until the 99cc with the Tritons. It doesn't wanna wheelie with me on here (I think it might if I blipped the throttle and my carb's response was a bit more crisp) but the front end feels light and if I catch it at the right time it's not hard to pull up. I think my carb setup is still off. I've got a 90 main in the Arreche 19mm with the stock airbox w/o snorkel. The 80 main I started with looked a little lean when I checked after some break-in passes so I went straight to the 90. It bogs for just a second when I try to rev it quick and after I let off of the throttle it has no power for a second. Moving the needle up made the quick throttle bog slightly better, but I don't believe it affected the after WOT issue. I'm thinking I'd need to try the 85 main jet and a thinner needle... of course I have no other needles for this thing. I'll know more when I check the plug later. I think this Airsal kit would be nasty with a real pipe, but I do like the SP3. Sounds like stock, but I think it performs better. It doesn't push the revs like a real tuned pipe though. I rode with my father and he was on T2. Once you get used to the quiet pipe, T2's ZX sounds pretty ignorant. lol The brakes impressed me. These drum brakes are nothing like the SunL's. They're pretty much like either of the Tritons. Not bad at all. If I had known that, I woulda just got a new front tire or wheel/tire instead of worrying about that swap stuff. This is the first scoot I've rode any distance with a stock front tire for a long time. I got tired of watching the mirror bounce around after a while. Anyway, here's how it turned out. I wrote "murdertrain" on the front fender. I've had this stuck in my head all day, so I figured WTH.

It looks cool as hell Brent. Great going! How wide are those forks? I might have a wider set you can have for nothing + shipping.

Thanks. The forks for the 12" are 7.5" wide at the "triple clamp". I think the widest I could go would be maybe 9" there because of the front fairing's design. The tube is .997" diameter and 14.5" long.

The ones I have are 6 3/4 between the fork tubes at the triple clamp and they too taper to a larger diameter.
