Cool thanks I was wondering where you were at with them kick but speeds. My 103 is geared at about 9.25:1. How well do the 90 shrouds fit the 54 bbk? Woundering if I should get 100 aerox or bws shrouds since the cylinders are a bit longer and I don't have shrouds for my big motor yet. Sent from my PG86100 using proboards

my engine came from europe so its shrouds fit the 52mm cylinder etc but the head on the hoca hit are big but it can fit over it snuggly and yeah my gearing was good for what im at. almost 70 mph and my head gasket started leaking but i just dont have money for another so its parked for now...eghhh
i was riding today and i could feel it reving higher so i checked for air leaks etc and seen exhaust come from cylinder head etc so i tightend it down and it took care of the problem for now but i need also a gasket the full flange kinds from ncy they are metalic looking and dempled

Thanks for the reply I seen where Brent burned through a shroud some and was debating what to do since I need to buy some one way or another. Could always go lc but then where to put the radiator plus the expensive lc cylinder.

yeah i think he used 50cc shrouds i can be certin but my shrouds work they cover it all the way but its a snug fit. with your gearing id expect great acceleration but idk about top speeds being great those hoca kits really produce power and my gearing is barley deep enough i literlly have smoked anyone who has wanted to race me in pullman or fennville most 70cc kits but i have almost 2k invested into my engine. your best bet after you get going is invest in either stage 6 pro or pro replica because they create pwer right off the bat and dont stop till around 11k-12k then they drop but its not really noticeable IMO

I can get 90cc shrouds cheep I'll try them first. My lv zx isn't restricted and I'm money pore so I'll try that first. I've got overange variator and want to try one of carlos's bws 100 torque drivers and belt, should be kinda like a overange trans but cheeper. I want that in so bad but I need a few things I just can't afford till I get back to work. Everyone has been there I'm sure but at least I've got 2 I can ride now and 1 while I switch the other over

Find a Polaris dealer and buy a Polaris Predator (or any atv model) 90cc 2T fan cover and engine shroud. With this one, you can fit an oversize fan under, and your engine is well covered. There is only a small gap between the 2 shrouds, but nothing to worry about.
