OK,I went back and found your chart of seal dimensions(sorry for asking about crank OD when its already posted),,I'd just have to try the 2T seal as it seems more heavy duty and the shaft dimensions are soo close..

I slid the 2T seal on. Trust me, I wanted it to work so bad. lol It's just too big in the center and fits loose there. By the numbers it doesn't seem like it should be, but when I fit it it does. I could be wrong. Fits better in the case though. Maybe I'll try it just for the heck of it?

Cool thread. These 4 stroke 139qmb "wonders-of-china" are popular too around here in finland. They are well known for their crappy quality(o rly). Sometimes they're so bad that it's more or less funny. But the good thing is the ridiculously cheap price, a used one is typically 100-300 euros here, whereas an european made moped can be even 2000 euros used...
That seal issue really sucks, hope you can get it fixed. A simple carb or tranny issue is usually easy to fix but something like this is really annoying..

Yeah. I have enough stuff to be prepared for the avg carb or trans issue. Had a seal set, but wasn't expecting all of this.

If you read the beginning about my issues with the MVA, here's an update. I was very happy to get an email back after contacting them regarding my problem with the local branch. Here are the messages sent regarding this, just with all the RE, FW, adresses, and phone numbers removed.
From me : "Hi. I know it's a very delayed message, but I finally got to title my scooter. I took everything you mentioned to the Easton, MD branch on Wednesday June 12, 2013 and lined up as they opened. I got to the first desk and told the lady what I was doing. She looked at the paperwork, made a quick call, and told me they don't title scooters there. She said I'd have to use a title service or a dealer. I ended up going to a motorcycle dealer and paying $90 in fees for them to do the paperwork in addition to the fees I expected. I just wanted to let you know there is a problem here somewhere.
I'm all setup to ride now, but for future reference is what I did the proper way or is my local MVA branch mistaken or improperly listed?"
From the MVA rep :
"Thank you for the update about what happened when you visited the Easton branch. Please see the email below from the branch manager..."
MVA rep to branch manager :
"... asked me to send you an email so that the employees at your information desk can be updated. The email below is from a customer who was following our instructions when he was turned away at your branch on June 12, 2013. If you have an questions, do not hesitate to call ..."
Branch manager to MVA rep :
"Thanks, .... we have an office meeting today after work and I will address this and make sure we are all "on the same page"!!"
So hopefully no one else will have to argue or pay extra to get their scoots on the road locally!

Oh sure. I'm really just amazed I may have accomplished something. I kinda figured they'd ignore it. Nice to hear after seeing the special report this morning about the Supreme Court ruling, cause I just really loved hearing how the justices had adjourned till later in the week... at 10AM. lol Come in at 8:00, talk over free coffee and breakfast, do 4 1/2 minutes of work, adjourn for a few days.

I like this thread. Lots of info of you are thinking of making a scooter purchase soon. The seal issue really sucks. If you just assembled the scooter then rode it, and never checked anything, could well of seized through low oil . The rollers are a bit of a let down. I have put over a thousand miles on rollers that looked better than that!

If 190mech has trouble, then be worried. lol I've never really had to deal with seals that won't seal repeatedly. I've just replaced them and had them work. I thought maybe the seals would have showed up by now since they're from MD, but I ordered something from Cali at the same time and it got here yesterday. I seem to always have that luck with sellers in my state.

that sucks about the seals Brent maybe you will find something that will work. I have installed many years ago, not on scooters yet and long as they was in straight and fit tight was never a problem. but not fitting tight usually meant crank change time if cant find a seal to fit. just sucks not many miles on the scoot and its like this makes me wonder how many of these scooter on the road with improper crank size or a seal to fit them. I am sure you will get it fixed

i know(think) you had an issue with a crank early on in another build, project90 maybe, is there any indication of a similar issue here? What i do not understand is how you are not getting correct seals? I kno you get the ID/OD of each & match that up to diff places descriptions but like if the seal is X.XX.X then shouldn't a X.XX.X fit it lol .....stupid question but i think you know what i mean.
