I almost bought the exact wheels and tires in that listing. The GT5 wheels are very cool. The bad news is I don't think the rear wheel and tire is gonna work for you. It's for a two-stroke so I believe it will use a different axle spline count/size and maybe different spacing or drum size as well.
Is the exhaust linked to one you have or one you're looking at? If it's one you're looking at, even if the motor mount brackets line up it'll prob need a bracket made to support the muffler itself. That's pretty common with the cheap eBay stuff.

Think the wheels will be here tomorrow.I got them both without bidding and used my fedex to ship.If they work. I'm going to sell my 3 spoke 12 inchers. On the exhaust yes I will have to do a stand off or something we shall see. It is mostly uncowled right now. Draining fuel. Don't like using a torch with fuel on board. Could get scarey.

Where can I get new hardware. I saw a kit; but I can't find it. Looked all day yesterday. My forks have corrosion. Need to start wiping them down with hyd. fluid. I will try to treat the corrosion. It is high up so it will not affect the seals. If you have cloudy plastic lenses you can fix them with novus. Works very well. It is 3 steps if you have scratches. If just cloudy you can do it in 2 steps. Maybe you guys know this already. I just haven't seen it in my journey in this forum. Wheels and tires are here. Just checked the cyl. sleeve in the 80cc. It is steel. Well Hi Ho Hi Ho off to work I go.

Couldn't get the scooter up on the center stand this morning. Was messing around looked down and the beads had broken on the foot part. Got the PAIR removed. I drilled the tubing out from the back side. Now I'm going to try some PC 7 epoxy for the holes. I'm lazy I started to saw them and said not today. So I drilled them. Still haven't gotten my back tire off. These tires are pretty big. May have to mod to get the back to work. The only worry I have is if the side rubs. Other than if everything else fits. Gotta put it up on something. would rather not have to buy or build something. Milk crate would be great.

I'll post some pics soon if you want. Has anyone pulled the 12 inch back tire off theirs? All I can say it wasn't fun. It kept hitting the engine case. Everything looks the same for the ebay wheel. I may go with a long case. May make things just a tad bit easier. Anyone know where I can get one? About to pull the engine. The case has a lot of corrosion. Thinking about customizing the engine shroud. Get rid off 75% of it. May cut a hole on the body fairings and duct air straight onto the engine. Take toilet paper tubes to make the tubing. While I have this thing apart is there any suggestions? Has anyone put a disc brake on the back? I'm back to questions again.

I have pics. How do I download them. Went searching for a long case. Found one for 12" tires. Go figure. Found some rust on the frame. Going to sand and shoot epoxy paint. Can you move this to the build section? Need to sell somethings to get more funds. Wish me luck.

You can attach pics if you use the Reply button instead of just the quick reply at the bottom. There's an Add Attachment button.
I put a larger 10" tire on my old 4T short case and I had to file down parts of the cases and weld on new shock mounts to move it over a little to fit the tire. Long case is the way to go if you really want bigger wheels and tires without it being a PITA.
Not sure if the fan shroud removal is a great idea. Never tried it on a 4T, but I left the shrouds off of my 2T for just a test run up the road and overheated it quick. The stock setup works. If you wanted to improve cooling a little you may have better luck adding a scoop to the inlet of the cooling fan shroud. I've done it to my 2Ts and watched cylinder head temps drop a bit after.

The front tire works. I think I'm going the long case. Since I'm going to split the case. Will see if back tire works. If so I'll sell my 12 inchers. On the carbs that are sealed. They look like cherry max rivets. Sometimes you can pop the stem and drill them out.
I'm not a welder. When they said 100% fill. I made a hole and filled it 100%. Heliarc.I never met a rod I didn't like to stick. My projects looked like porcupines. Had so many rods sticking on it. Was very bad.
Thanks.

Ever bought parts from these guys? Their long case is less than half of what others are charging. www.mxmotoparts.com/

Error this time. The Vento wheel is 18 spline and the drive is a 19 spline. I will probably be machine shop bound unless I can find a 19 spline bushing and press this one out. I thought I missed counted. LOL Guess I didn't.

I'll post pics one day. The spring was suppose to push the clutch away from the pulley right? Not on mine it is frozen unless I'm missing doing something. Ordered the L/H long case. Left the variator on for the moment. I think I can press the spline bushing out. I contacted Tao Tao for a parts breakdown with P/N. I have looked every where for it. I can find them with nomenclature; but no numbers with it. Has anyone else found a diagram with P/N and discription.
