Not really sure yet. I'm waiting on the c16 so there is no real since in fine tuning with the stock pipe. Last run with the same set up I was at 92-9300 rpms around 54 mph. Do you think I'll need heavier rollers with the pipe. My heaviest(5.5) are in now. I also have a soft and medium torque spring coming.

Sounds like you are on the rite track Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards

Got a 1k contra delivered today and as I pulled out on the main road leaving my neighbor hood 2 different cops have people pulled over to the left and right. Damn it. Took it easy and came home without a real test but it did seem smoother than the stock spring. I also added a malossi spring bushing and a motoforce fan I ordered. Hoping to have the pipe next week along with a 1.5k contra and an intake as mine is cracked pretty good. Might have to sneek out for another run later.

Got a couple tuning rides in. The 1k contra helped acceleration a ton! I went from 5 grams to 5.5 and removed the spacer in the variator and saw 57 mph on the gps however it didn't accelerate like it did with the spacer. Funny though the line on the variator didn't change with or without it. I put it back in and like I said it just screams to 30 and then 40. acceleration slows about 48. Damn I wish that pipe would get here! Are you hearing this Scootertuning.ca. lol In all seriousness they have been great and fast seeing how everything is coming from across the pond.

Could try a .5mm spacer and see what happens if you've got one. Or just leave it if the acceleration is fine as-is.

I think the .5 would be ideal but I don't have one. Have to see what I can work out. The acceleration is great with the 1 mm but at the expense of a little top end mph. All this will be tuned again when the pipe arrives so I'm not too worried about it now.

Got the C16 today and after a little bracket modding got it mounted and began tuning. They sent the wrong contra spring so I left with a soft and hard. Had the soft in with 5 gr rollers and a 102 main jet. A little sluggish of the start and then wham! Pulled strong til I backed of at 63mph. I know I need the medium contra but any advise to get it a little better down low Whois help. I have 2k clutch springs in also.

If the tune is rich it will make it harder for the pipe to hit, but don't back off the jetting unless you know it's rich. Going a notch leaner on the needle may help.

Ok. I'll look into that tomorrow. I used a couple of used plugs that were about black and it lightened them up. Not white but it did get rid of the darkness and turned them a light tan. I also put the new belt on at the same time a changes rollers(should of only done one change) and that made it more sluggish. The new belt is 1mm wider.
