Usually between 11-12,000RPM In that vid its running a 190mech custom made Peace Pipe Not sure what i am going to run on the street but it will be much milder. Probably a Phogneer exhaust or something else quieter like that.

i went with the full circle steel 43.5 crank. I assume all steel can sustain more rpms than the one with plastic inserts. www.partsforscooters.com/169-319-Hoca-Crankshaft?sc=38&category=138836now i need to find the bushings for the engine to mount to frame....i will check out secret 90 thread. i am going to run the 52mm cylinder and correct the port timings. I am also do some work on the case before assembling it.

Cool longer stroke with that then. I hear longer stroke cranks are preferred by most female scooter riders everywhere.

thank you, i try to start my builds with a decent bottom end. No since getting crazy with the top end if i cant depend on the crank. Hopefully this thing will bring happiness! At least now i can get the case ready and then work on the port timing. My piston is used but in great condition as the cylinder is(52mm) i plan to work the ports then hone. What do i do about rings? just buy new ones?

Just buy a new piston and rings. That way you'll have a spare their not that pricey.

I think the rings and piston look fine. No scaring or wear on piston skirt. What kind of hp do you think these motors put out? I know they are more known for torque but I just want to know that this thing will put my 70 with zxr to shame. I want to use the right parts to make it worth my time. My 70 will hit 45-50 pretty quick. I just hope I don't build this and not be impressed.
