Thank you Glenn, I think I have it though, thanks to 190. I had the entire stock motor after putting the 2 donors together. I appreciate the offer though. I hate asking for help, damn pride.

Thanks to the genorousity of 190mech,usmcdoc, and nelson it looks like the redneck scoot will LIVE!!! 190mech has kindly donated an exhaust, usmcdoc and nelson have also both offered help. Thank you, all of you. Nelson the bbk, if it works out would be a God-send, that should turn those flattened rollers enough to give it a better ride. I am going to try to find some " 49ccscoot.com " stickers to plaster all over the scoot. The members of this community have helped not only to restore this scoot, but also my faith in man-kind. I do not have any family thay can help me through this and all of my local friends ate just as broke as I am. You guys have never even met me, and already consider me a friend enough to help me. Untill I can afford to pay you all back, I hope karma will. Thank you, all of you. I am proud to be part of a community tthat helps its own like this. 49ccscoot.com ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will know soon about the bbk. I have to take the fan shrouds off to steal some nuts and bolts for another engine I am building. I LOVE 2 strokes and anyone who goes through the effort to keep them alive deserves help imo. I will let you know in a bit, out running errands for wife at the moment so that should allow me some garage time when I get back

What size and weight are you running? Stock 15x12 and what weight? We will fix that issue right up Sir. Yes pride keeps us from asking for help...but don't allow it to cause you refusal of my help with some weights. It would insult me. Bonahisena ela medolaktii sutogo anamet didanyn siksik <-- It is easier to swallow our pride for help than it is to swallow our regrets for not accepting it.(rough translation..Chippewa does not follow the English dialect directly) So let me know what ya need.. usmcdoc, they are stock size, but I am not sure about the weight. I am unable to refuse your help atm. I thank you sir. When I had it apart cleaning everything, I inspected the rollers, and saw only flat spots, and no weight markings, and I do not have a scale. So I am not sure what size. I weigh around 185 and it is a stock top end, and the terrain around here is rather hilly, if any of that helps. The Chippewa were right.

I would go with 5 gram..they will give better take off and not rob your top end. I put a set in a for a guy that weighs 205lbs and it was MUCH better than the standard 6-7 gram ones...which gave him a slow take off and speed loss uphill. If the Rollers are worn..is the Variator worn too?.. If so I got a barely used KOSO one of those..it is 21mm and some scoots use 18mm as ya know. Just let me know what size shaft yours is if it is worn..and message me your addy so I can ship the stuff off.

You all are great here @ 49ccscoot.com, I don't know what I would do without you guys. Also the vari is just slightly worn, and as far as I can tell its not sloppy. I havent been able to ride it yet due to not having an exhaust atm.

90GTvert is sending me some stickers for the redneck scoot. I would like to thank usmcdoc for the rollers that he is donating to this cause.190mech said ( I think last night ) he would donate an exhaust so thanks to him as well. And last but certainly not least nelson may be donating a bbk, so thanks to him as well. After new rollers, a pipe, and hopefully a bbk, I will be able to finish this build. For the last few days of my winter job, I have to bum a ride. Hopefully the donated parts get here soon, because the 40 mile round trip is costing me 25 bucks a day. My neighbor is just flat taking advantage of my situation, but at least hes taking me and waiting untill I collect rent next month to get paid, but 18 days @ 25 a day! 450 bucks at that rate I will be making about thirty bucks in 18 days, nice huh.

I can send a little tuning help along with the stickers if you'd like. The rollers are for tuning, can't be used daily or they'll flat spot. 15x12. 2 used and 2 new contra springs. 2 new sets of clutch springs. You can have the little temp gauge too if you want it. May be of some use for the build.

90GTvert, thank you sir. Every bit of help is so very apprieciated. You are the admin over a forum made of great and hoborable men, and I am proud to be a member. When I told my wife about what you all are doing, she started crying. My wife knows what my scoot meant to me. She also knows that if it wasn't for the help from you guys my " new " scoot would be under a tarp, incomplete for months or maybe even years before I could afford to finish it. Thank you, all of you. Chris
