There should be the drive boss, a thin washer and if there is a spacer also that needs to go.

Ive got a new muffler but i cant seem to find my cdi. Its one of the two thongs i found but neither one looks like a cdi

None of them. If that CDI is restricted, it's not as simple as cutting a wire. If it's a rev limiter it should feel like a limiter. Like its just fine then you hit X RPM and it's like hitting a wall. |
