Are you going to put an expansion chamber pipe on it?

If you plan on a real pipe and then a bbk get a tuning set of roller weights. 15x12 for stock variator 5gr-7gr. 1.5k and 2k clutch springs and 1.5k and 1k contra/torque spring. Jet kit 80-100. Once you get it all in tune order a set of sliders or rollers in the weight that worked best with the tuner rollers. My set up likes the sliders a gram heavier than the rollers. Others have seen the same but not all.

Whats the difference between a slider and roller? I have said once before, I don't know much abou these little motors or scoots themselves, so I'm just learning as I go.

They do the same thing. The shape is different and some say sliders wear longer. I didn't notice a difference in performance and I was flat spotting the sliders so I went back to rollers. I may try sliders again but for now get the roller tuning kit. The weight of them is one of the things you change along with the contra to tune the cvt to run in the optimal rpm range. You need to take a break and go read all the tech info.

Maybe someone else knows a place. My variator uses 16x13. You will probably need between 5 and 6 gram weights. They can be mixed to equal 5.5. You just never know though. Your scoot may decide it likes 7 gram or 4 gram weights.

On the affordable performance for stock scooters thread, Brent says to do engine work before transmission work..

Yeah that's too long. Check with usmcdoc. If he doesn't have what you need he'll get you a link to it.

I guess I'll just have to order the ones I found and see how long they take to get here.

You could just order 5's and 6's and the springs from partsforscooters.

From parts for scooters the clutch springs are $8.99 per set and the contra springs are $14.99 a piece. I'm not spending $72 for just springs. I'm on a budget. Lol
