I used hand signals only with Skeedr for a long time. I told the cop that....He stumbled a bit and said hand signals are only to "aid" the turn lens....LMAO!!! What a bunch a BS i thought as i smiled and grabbed the release for Skeedr.....

Don't forget to glue that 6" flashing amber bubble strobe to the top of your helmet. :riding:

I am thinking about a 250cc motorcycle.

I like the Kawasaki Ninja 250R. They redesigned them in recent years with better styling and more power. Nice bikes for a 250 class. To my knowledge, the 250cc cruisers are going to be pretty shy on power compared to the 250 sport bikes. The cruisers would be more similar to a scoot though. Then there are always 250cc scooters. www.kawasaki.com/Products/Product-Specifications.aspx?scid=6&id=431

If you take a motorcycle safety course, they not only get you the M without a road test, you also learn how to ride a motorcycle from the ground up. Shifting gears, working the manual clutch. The course I took supplied the motorcycles to train on. Are the 2t's manual or auto ?

I am thinking that the 250s get a bum wrap. My favorite is the Suzuki TU250

The problem is that most of the 250s are geared towards women. They are made very short. Men are m uch more likely to take a pass on anything short of a 750 these days as their starter bike.

One of the problems is that it is not really so viable to have a 50cc scooter and a motorcycle at the same time. For one, I have only so many hours a week to ride. Two I think that it would be difficult if not dangerous to switch back and forth.

LOL, yea, the thing I had trouble with was the habit of riding an automatic. I can't tell you how many times I popped the clutch in that class. And I will not likely go back to a 50cc from the 150cc. The scooter is enough for me though, size wise. Now you just have to convince your wife that she wants to ride the scooter.

My last 'real' street bike was a Ninja 250,got it used for $1200 from a young man who was moving. It was a great bike, handled better than all the sport bikes I owned before,of course it was a bunch slower than a 750 too!Little engine would scream along all day long and get 60-80 mpg,oil filters cheap at Autozone, easy to service,I highly recommend this little bike if ya wanna go there..Looks cool too!!

I think I lean more toward the cruiser rather than the sport bike, though I hear nothing but high praise for the 250 Ninja.

LOL, I wish that were true! I need a seat hight under 28" and there is nothing in the 250cc for me. One of the reasons I love these retro's is the 27" seat. Perfect for a short girl like me. And balanced low for my weak little girl arms
