Nighthawks have a good rep as reliable and easy to handle small bikes. They use them at a lot of motorcycle safety foundation rider courses around here.

I ended up getting a 2002 GZ250. I am still trying to sell my Malaguti. Believe me it is much easier trying to sell a cheap beat up old chinese scooter for cheap than a nice italian scooter for a good price. The market is much smaller for the good Italian scooter.

Nice, clean, cruiser. Congrats on the new ride. Thanks. I am still wading through the red tape that North Carolina requires just to get a plate on a bike. It is absurd. Also I need to sell my Malaguti before my Wife kills me.

I think half the folks in the course I took were in their 40's, some had been riding for most of their lives, some had never ridden before. They start from scratch, as if no one had ridden before..and the guys with more experience were very encouraging to us noobs.
