I hear ya. Guess the wife will just have to put up with more grinding in the garage. Maybe some ear plugs for her birthday coming up.

Hmm, wonder what would happen if I bought myself ear plugs for her birthday. Not like I'd be able to hear her thoughts in it.

With my scooters? I can do that. Lol. If I was single I'd have a shop with a loft for living quarters. Oh to dream!!!

I almost rented a warehouse years ago and moved into it. I was going to make a loft, makeshift bathroom and just tinker. Hmm. Let me know when you have room for the Baccio, she will keep you warm at night haha.

Oldgeek, that's similar to what I'm running. A stock E-ton 90cc crank, stock E-ton 50mm top end, and stock 49cc airbox, carb, and exhaust. I swear this is the perfect daily driver! With the 11:1 gears I still have plenty of low-end power and my stock pipe keeps me at 7k RPM's at around 50-55mph cruise. Not even sure I want to put an expansion pipe on it. It's plenty fast enough to just nearly get me in trouble already, and at such low RPM's, it seems like it should be reliable for a long time...

Thats good, sounds just like what I want for this build. My 70cc is so loud I cant crack the throttle without someone turning their head to see what the hell is coming! LoL

Ive been in favor of the low rev bigger cc street engines for awhile now myself! If you did decide to go with a pipe you would loose allot of the low-end off idle punch you have now. The CVT would need "loosened" up to let the engine rev into the power, etc.. Nothing wrong with a tuned scoot with a pipe, its just nice to see others build successful low rev street engines

The V8 style hits the side of the scoot according to the seller. Corrosion is also in the process of a similar build, and confirmed the fitment issue with the V8. I wonder if opening up a silvertone 50cc stock pipe would work, but then again it would most likely not fit either.

So this is going in a Venice or Vino? Short or long case motor?
