Nice upgrade. I looked at that but went vforce instead. I like the manifold but I don't have the room with the filter I'm running. Glad it's working for you. Did you get one if Docs bbks?

Yeah 2TDave It is coming in Thursday. I'm waiting to get a pipe and some bigger jets before install it. I Thought about getting the Vforce, but I needed a new manifold so I ended up just buying buying that. I could get the Vforce later i'm sure and throw that in but, that would probably be a little over kill. I can't imagine how much of a difference the two Reedblocks would be. I do believe the Vforce is better no matter what. All and all I'm super happy with the performance that i have gained form this upgrade. I am going to put a boost bottle on this anyway so the port is built in and ready for it. Your right about the room, my airbox is pushed over up against my fairing. i put a spacer in where the it screws into the cvt cover to keep it stable. It makes tuning the scooter a huge challenge because i cannot get a screwdriver to the mixture screw. I'm trying to htink of ways to remedy that. I wonder if there is a way to make and remoter mixture screw?

I think you will be happy with the bbk. I think those reeds are fine it wouldn't be worth another $100 to change them. I had to cut into the supports and belly pan to get my Doppler filter to fit but it does and it's a good unit. Not loud like an open pod and tunable by removing vents. You can see it in front of the cvt.

Can you pop the little access cover out that's behind the battery and get a small screwdriver in there well enough to do the mixture? I guess not if you've still got the oil tank, but I can't recall right now if you said you premix or not.

Or remove the seat bucket. I haven't had screws in mine since I started the project. I pull it out anytime I do anything to let light come down.

Right now i am using the oil pump. When I install the bbk I am going to take all that out and just use premix the rest of the way. I should have enough room then to get a screwdriver in there. Right now It is running like a bat outta hell so i really don't need to tune it. Maybe bump up the idle speed a bit, but i can get to that. I must say I kinda like that air filter.
