Finally got a pipe on her. Wow what a difference. This thing runs like a thief in the night. I finally realize how the cvt tuning works just by feeling where the pipe hits which is around 7500 on up. So now that I have felt what it is like, I have been gauging in my head what each component to the cvt will do if changed. Very happy with the performance thus far. I can not imagine what could happen when I tune the cvt. I hit 48 top speed at 9000 rpms. What app does everyone use for GPS speed. I still have yet to check the speed using gps. I only have my vapor which is pretty in tune. I would still like to make sure it is accurate.

Sorry, no idea on what apps are good since i use an actual GPS on mine. If you wanna check vs the Vapor another way the Fenwick Island RADAR sign is right on with my GPS any time I've passed it.

I see a lot of people using 'ulysses speedometer' for GtPS speeds. It's the app that I use also.

Wow a whole winter on a 4t got me desperate to get the Vento up and running. I went at it today didn't expect to get it started at first. There was old gas still in the tank I never took out. Drained it threw some starter fluid in the carb with some new gas in the tank and started right up. This whole time I was thinking I screwed up when I put the new cylinder on and put it away for the winter cause I couldn't get it to start at all in November last year. I guess it just doesn't like the cold. I have to tune it up, but it rides pretty nice so far. I ordered a 19mm carb the stock on it is 17.5. Little upgrade for it. Got the variator tool in the mail so I can start working on the CVT finally. I am so happy I got this thing working. It Feels, smells, and sounds so much better then the 4t. No offense to the 4t guys, but that's my thing.

LOL figures as soon as I get it running it screws up again. I can't get the cylinder to seal right. Time to take it off and do it again.

I use to use Ultra Black but since found Ultra Grey to be better if not using goopy ThreeBond. Motoseal 1 is used by some here. Sometimes it doesn't seem to matter what you use it doesn't seal on the first try. Make sure the surfaces are very clean and try again. If it's really a problem then check for flatness of the surfaces and you can apply a small amount of initial torque and let the sealant set up for a bit before final torque.

No 50cc longcase. Sticking one of doc's 70cc bbk in it. Felt like starting off fresh. Got it from a scooter store in town.
