This is my 2007 triton li 2t. I bought this for $600.00 with only 700 miles on it. I hope to start modding it soon. I'm new to scoot modding. But I have been riding scoots for 6 years. I have seen a lot of scoot modding on the net. and I can't wait to start some mods. I will post an update soon as I start. Attachments:

Nice scoot and a good deal. I like the wheels on that model. You used to have to pay extra for a special edition to get those.
Take a look around the builds section and the tech libary and you might get a few ideas. We have quite a few Triton and similar scoot owners around here.

Nice scoot! Some of those Ventos come restricted with a turbo and a cam don't they?

Yes. this one has the turbo cam and digital dash. It also came with the expansion pipe. But i don't know if it actually is a real pipe or not. MY top speed is 53 mph. On hills I can get 40 to 43mph. So not bad for a stock scooter. Can't wait to put a 70cc kit and a 21mm carb.

I'm pretty sure that stock pipe is just a standard muffler disguised as an expansion chamber.

Ok I have a Question. Now that I know I have to upgrade the pipe. I found a package deal on Provo Scooter for a stage 2 upgrade. You can either get a 19mm or 21mm carb with the package. How much of a performance gain would there be in a 19mm or a 21mm carb? Would I see that much hp difference.

Idon't think you'd see a whole lot of difference either way. I know the Arreche 19mm will install jus tlike a stock carb essentially. You can keep the stock cable and throttle, stock airbox, stock intake, etc... That said, I'd probably pass on the Arreche carbs and look for a DellOrto on eBay or something. I think they're just easier to tune. I've never used a catb other than the Arreche 19mm or stock on a 70cc so I don't know exactly how much you have to change there.

Ive been doing a lot of searching on this sight. Man you guys are awsome, and know your stuff. Man! this scooter tuning is very addicting. I have got a lot of learning to do. Hope I am not asking to many questions. What are those boost bottles used for? Or what do they do?

Ok, I have been looking at the dyno vids on the forum. How do those guys get that kind of power out of those scoots. Are they running really big bore kits or running nitrous kits. And why aren't there any american scoots like that. Is it we can't get performance parts over here like that. Or have'nt I just found the right vids yet?

Scoots are big business in Europe. Scooter racing and tuning seems to be taken much more seriously over there. Some may be larger displacement, but a lot of it comes from high-end race style big bore kits. You may notice that in some of the vids they are revving to 14,000RPM and beyond. You can make a lot of peak power at high revs if you are willing to give up a wide powerband that most of us enjoy for street scoots. I really don't know a lot about the high-end setups, but I can't imagine the real scramers will last long on the street, and if they do they are probably water cooled.

Well started on my scoot. Got a question about some parts. What is this jumper for? Attachments:

And these two parts. The small one went to the top of the gas tank. And the big one came from the filter box and went to the small one. When I put my larger carb on and new air filter on, it won't have anyplace to hook to. Attachments:

To be sure about the jumper, you'd need to get a wiring diagram and see what two wires it is connected to and what they go to. The other is emissions equipment. It's legally necessary, but not technically necessary.
