Nice scoot you got there, Birdman. What ratio for premix are you using? Thanks, I mix somewhere in the 40:1 neighborhood, I just eyeball it now and go off the color. It's not the best practice I know but my jetting is rich for my setup and can handle it if my mix is A LITTLE oil heavy.

20,000. miles on a 2T top end? WoW! What incantations are said over your oil? Is the bore hardcoated in some way? Yea, according to the stock odometer. It counts to 9,999 miles and ive flipped it over twice thus far. I commuted this thing for a couple years putting about 25mi a day on it. Ive always premixed with motul 800, it works, hasn't given me a problem, and I like the smell hah.

The main thing is that the pink is premixed with distilled water and has some additives to extend the life of the coolant. I wouldnt use the red in a hybrid if i were you. Also the engine coolant and inverter coolant are 2 seperate circuits fyi. Bleeding the two systems on toyota hybrids can be a pain in the @$$

Could it be bad gas? Does gas go bad faster when its premixed? It was sitting for a month or so.

Those are gaskets for the horizontal minarelli. I need the one for a vertical minarelli. The horizontal stuff is always easy to find. The thing is I have switched to premix, but there is still grease packed in there. When I switched from injection to premix all I did was remove the resevoir and lines and cap off the ports on the oil pump. So now that Im running premix, I dont need the gasket?
