Bored, have the kit, house poor... why not. Throwing this together to sell? or maybe use... Who knows. Step one is boring out the cases for the crank and the cylinder skirt. Got that done today

Spree steerer welded to metro/jazz forks. You have to cut out little notches for the fork to get full turning.

I've seen an oil pump on a dio fail and fill the motor up so much when I pulled the reed block off oil came out.
It happens more than people know, which is why I ditch them on the regular.
Old Yamaha RD stuff is notorious for working fine one day and locking the motor on the next, which is why a lot of guys nuke the pumps on those. It's simply another variable that could fail (everything mechanical eventually will fail given adequate time or strain)
People strive for better lubrication all the time, polishing oil galleys, high vol or high flow oil pumps. Because lubrication = cooling and cooling = happy engine on the limits. I'll take my 32:1 at 13k knowing if it melts it's not because of lubrication. Bad tuning or another variable sure.

It was my spring build. I made some videos for it and helped him get it rolling. Jean loves nice things, he had 2 pretty bonkers scoots he just got rid of. He has the dio bug right now though.

Also the boppers are huuuge and heavy. Just get a 90/90/10 or 3" tire. Looks way better imho
Not much selection tho in those sizes, most scoots are 12 now.

Also it comes with everything needed to make it work, you can do a brake upgrade but it's not needed, you do need to countersink the brake rotor with a 90 degree countersink for new bolts if you use the stock setup.

I wanted that zip wheel base, I probably wouldn't do it again if I did it all over again tho.
Not listed on their website, email Jean@ scootertuning or message them on facebook messenger they can order anything you see on scooter attack. I have told him they would sell!
It's the F32S and RS24 shock.
I want to try those mitas, fortnine has them from time to time.

The suspension was the best upgrade I have ever done. The stock forks are usually so clapped out. I liked it so much I also modified a set onto my other Typhoon as well.
I have been bugging Jean to put them on the store because the stock forks are always clapped out.
It's night and day different. having actual rebound dampening adjustment makes all the difference.
The slicks are crazy grippy. But if it's damp or cold your gonna get icy till there is some heat in them. It depends on your confidence level, really driving them daily isn't the smartest, but if you know that unless it's hot out and you've had a few minutes of run time they are pretty forgiving, I also am not the smartest fella.
