I don't know if this has been asked before. I was coming up to a stop sign and stalled. Went to start it again and no go. Looked down and gas is running out the carb. I would guess the float stuck somehow, took it apart and all looks normal. Any other ideas? Running a qmb139 47mm kit 87mj 34 pilot Just filled the tank up as usual.

When I put my gears in, it took the rpm way down and it need lighter sliders. Also, had to adjust the carb some. Top speed is a average top of 49mph on my gps.

Hi All, I just added an A9 cam to my 72cc set up that I had already running good. My question is what RPM should I be at? Before the A9 I was running between 7900 and 8300 @ 42 to 44 mph on my gps. Now after the A9 I am at 9000 to 9300 @ 46 to 48 mph on GPS. I had also changed the tach so I do not know if my new cheap tach is better or worse than what I started with. If the new tach is right is 9000 too much and should I change sliders. It does run real good the way it is but, I don't want to blow it up. The cam is a improvement with the 72cc kit, just wish I did it before the cvt tuning I did. Looks like time to start over, let em know what you think. Thank you current set up 72cc with a 60cc head cleaned up casting imperfections in the ports and port matched the spacer. stock carb 18mm with #90 main and #31 idle needle it the middle setting 1.5 turns on the af screw pod filter 6 gram koso sliders 1k koso contra timing mod with stock cdi and coil gates 669 belt

Do NOT buy from EVERESTPARTS248 They are fake and poor quality. I can get my motor started with fluid only and it runs great mid to upper. I have a 72cc kit 60cc factory head with the ports cleaned up intake imperfections cleaned up port matched the spacer. The cleaning up opened everything about 1mm to almost 2mm. The valves are both .005 I think the pilot section is plugged somewhere or it is the low quality of the fake that is giving me starting troubles. I am disputing the charges with PAYPAL because I did not learn about these fakes until it was too late to dispute with Ebay. Paypal gives 6 months. everestparts248 also has a website www.everestpartssupplies.com/collections/types?page=3&q=Carburetor+-+ATV%2C+Scooter%2C+MotorcycleThey will not return my emails. DO NOT USE THEM Just got my money back from my paypal dispute. The seller waited until the last day that that they could respond but, paypal awarded me the victory.

I HATE GETTING RIPPED OFF, FAKE 20MM CARB. I was hoping to have a nice set up with a 20mm and the 72cc kit. I will try to move forward with this one right now. Ebay sucks sometimes. I now have all the tubes mixed up now and I do not know which of the three is the one that came with it. I plan on using the one with the most holes and a #90 jet to start and we will see how it goes.

Hi All,
Has anyone changed the emulsion tube in the carb. I bought what I thought was a 20mm carb and I learned that it is just a bored out 18mm. I just installed a new 72 kit and getting ready to tune it. I have 3 carbs and I took the tube out of all 3 to compare and they are all different. One has clearly larger holes and more of them and one has very few and smaller holes. I am starting with a #90 main and #34 pilot. I also, smoothed out the head imperfections in thee ports. What is the best tube to use. I live in sussex county delaware where there long open roads.

Thank you for the tip. I was leaning towards the jug being too tall. The OEM metal gasket does allow it to fit like it should. It still will have plenty of valve clearance I think. I cleaned up the imperfections on the intake and exhaust ports, that did enlarge them by 1mm. I am going to run a 20mm carb, should I also enlarge the intake manifold gasket to 20mm too? With that said what jet size do you suggest given I will run 5.5g rollers and what size spring should I get for the clutch? Thanks in advance Larry

Please Help,
I ordered a 47mm kit on Ebay and I am having trouble where the chain is too tight. The head and jug are firmly seated and the tensioner is removed. When I put the chain on the cam it will not sit flat in the cradle. I have a stock jug and a 60cc jug and can get the chain on with them. The head is 60cc stock head that was on it and so is the chain. I can only come up with is the new jug is too tall. ANY IDEAS PLEASE HELP.
