Im really glad i didnt buy anything from scrappy, i almost did.
I get that there were some family issues, rickman specifically says that he was out dec and jan for them. But the thing is, scrappy fell apart before then.
When i bought my scooter i reseached parts suppliers, scrappy was a top company. But Before december i had come to the conclusion not to trust scrappy (even though they had a good rep for several years before.
Rickman may genuinely have not noticed his business fell apart before he left. But it did.

The only people that should be able to delete your posts here would be you and I, and I haven't deleted anything for quite a while that I recall. There are 2 active Scrappy threads though, so you may just be in the wrong one ATM.

Hey now it's alright, he's obviously going through some shit right now and can and will say/type some stuff out without thinking. Let's not put more gas on the fire, put it in your fuel tank instead I like you, your a nice and patient person. But don't let him have too much room tho, he still owes his wronged customers something, you know? If he makes things right then he deserves some recognition for that. I agree, if Rick wants to reach out to me about my missing parts I’d be happy to let bygones be bygones. I’m still out $248 and left hanging, he chose to address the problem but not the customer and that doesn’t sit right with me.

I've stayed out of 10 pages worth of this conversation because every time I have ordered from scrappydogs, I always received what I ordered and in a timely manner, but honestly can't say I disagree that Rick needs to address the customers to make things right, explaining the problem might help with a few things, but ultimately people are out money and deserve reparations.

what is going on with this mess, why did the posts explaining what happened get deleted? if this had happened to my business, I would be contacting every customer with an explanation, it would be at the top of my web page, it would be on my answering machine, silence makes people suspicious, you have to be transparent and open with your customers

Also, this isn't the first time bad stuff has happened to folks on this forum. Going back a few pages I can see rickmain getting into multiple arguments with customers, sometimes even prolonging the argument even after resolving the situation. He looks to me to have a history of poor customer relations, at least on this site, and also a couple others.

Hi Rick, I’m glad to see you’re on the forum. When are you shipping my order? It was a stroker crank, variator and some odds and ends, order number 837. I ordered it last December and you don’t answer my calls. It was around $248 that I paid you. Thanks, Matt
