Be careful trusting banks. They will only go out of there way to protect there money. There not cell phone companies trying to keep customers, they are trying to open new accounts. Even if you close your old one and open a new one, it means more reserve availability for the basis of new loans for the bank, and loans are where the money is made. Loans are how the money supply is 'expanded' (inflated=inflation), and how the banks continuously make more money from our illegimate financial system.
I use PayPal, works pretty good.

Ordered from Scrappy on the 8th, still don't have my parts. Considering letting Paypal know to get my money back soon.

So, after multiple calls unanswered, I ended up initiating a chargeback this weekend. Today I check my email and they shipped my stuff!!? This must be the worst timing ever, I will wait until I have the parts in hand then see about retracting the chargeback. At this point I'm not even sure it's been processed at all.

I’ve ordered from Scrappy Dog before, I had prompt shipping and everything worked out well for me. Fast forward 2 months... I just ordered a stroker crank and variator, and some other small stuff on 12/28. My card was charged $253.88 and I got an invoice via email. But I didn’t get a shipping notice, that was strange because they claim to ship same day and deliver in 3 days across the US. I sent 2 different emails asking for an update and got no answer after several days, I called several times and no one is picking up. The voice mailbox is full. I’m getting really worried right now, I feel like I just got ripped off for a not insignificant amount of money and parts that I NEED right now. I’m not trying to throw shade if this business is legit, but all signs point to scam for me right now. I hope this gets resolved, and if it does I’ll update this to reflect that, but I really can’t say anything other than STAY AWAY FROM SCRAPPY DOG at the moment. Status update on this - Several weeks have gone by since I last spoke to Scrappy Dog about my order, I was expecting to have to wait for this stroker crank since apparently there is a shortage. Since then I’ve called more recently and my calls and messages haven’t been returned. They took my money and they aren’t responding so... I am calling Scrappy Dog Scooters a scam. At least at this point there is something super fishy going on and any reputable business would be handling this differently. Stay far away, there is something wrong with what’s happening over there. I’m not the only person having problems, don’t be the next.

Rick (I assume your name is Rick),
I apologize for contributing to the negativity. I was not aware there was a serious issue happening with your health and your manager. Therein lies a problem I think, the lack of communication on this. There wasn't (isn't?) any currently easily visible notification on either of your sites that there may be a significant delay on orders. Multiple attempts to reach you by phone were also unsuccessful as there is no answer and your voicemail always says it's full. As you can guess, being unfamiliar with your reputation, I just concluded that maybe you were on the edge of shutting down your shop (or something to that effect). I was forced to speculate on my own as there was no way for me to know this was a temporary issue. Again, I apologize. If I can somehow help you out, let me know.

I called them once before, they told me my stuff would ship that day, obviously did'nt. I will call them again though, thanks. from what the other thread says, they were gone for a few months and the manager left in charge screwed them over good. Orders not filled, money missing etc.

Here's the real story from me, the owner of ScrappyDog. I've had some health issues and serious family problems for the months of december and january. I had left the shop with my manager to attend to business with his word that he would cover things during this bad time for me. Upon returning, he was gone. Vanished, with mountains of unattended orders, mismanaged orders, and in the end alot of missing parts, money, and questionable practices that have cost me alot, on top of everything else. Luckily my wife has jumped in and we are trying to make the best of it and are trying to sort it all out and make everything right, so if you have an open dispute it would be much more expeditious to deal with us directly instead of paypal, but I understand most of you don't know us or my personal good reputation and will continue with whatever you are doing. What puts salt on the wound is the lack of loyalty and seemingly total negativity in the scooter forum here. I understand that most of you don't know me, but Brent (90GTvert) has my personal and direct email and phone number, and has made zero attempt to contact me to find out what was going on, or inform me about all this, yet seems eager to jump in and add to the negativity and suspicion, despite our long relationship dating back to his initial formation of this forum of which I personally gave him a link on my website and promoted his forum by referring many of my customers here. Regardless, that's the way it is I suppose. Kudos to Matt at PartsForScooters for looking like one of the few who can hold loyalty and assume the best and not jump in and add to the negativity. They are good people over there and I look forward to partnering up with them on continuing ScrappyDogScooters after our move and fresh start. I would get something up at the top of your website explaining this, a message on the phone etc, the main issue is people don't know what is going on, so they make assumptions based on what they do know. I tried to call a couple of months ago, probably before you got back, and some guy said you were closed

Just read his reply...
Did he actually try and pass blame onto 90GTVert for not calling him to let him know his business was falling apart? Or that people here were negative that they paid for stuff and had zero contact or info or anything at all to tell them what was really going on?
Wow. Someone needs some humble pie. Perhaps step up to your own problems instead of saying others that have no idea whats going on are to blame.

ok it makes sense that having a bad manager could cause chaos when they were gone, but why delete the post explaining what happened and the fact they were trying to straighten the mess out? that doesn't make sense

Let's not put more gas on the fire, put it in your fuel tank instead I like you, your a nice and patient person. But don't let him have too much room tho, he still owes his wronged customers something, you know? If he makes things right then he deserves some recognition for that.
