Another option would be a 12mm pin rod kit and press it into your crank. You can find a rod kit depending on your big end pin size in 85mm center to center (that's plus 5mm)for about $40.

By the time I spent money on new bearings seals and splitting the case I could just get new crank. Thanks for the idea though

You could always go with the trp86 like pig used if you are going to change cranks and have a real handful with the razz. Might need a wheelie bar even with a 70 build

Hey buddy 800/1,200 isn't really enough I tryed to do that and I'm in the 2k Mark already and still gotta buy more parts . and haven't did anything cosmetic yet besides new mirrors. Don't know if your doing cosmetic stuff. But I did learn tho read reviews on anything your gonna buy and ask questions cause there is a few things I made mistakes on and have to change now .and wanted to share that.

Yes I realize this. I have a few Scoots already, I just want to get something with potential. I have money to dump into it, will just take longer!

Engine will end up in the blue jog. Purple one is 90cc and it's not fun when we race!

What are you running now in your blue one. Those 90 motors make a nice street ride. And you say the wife claimed the big one? That's the way it always goes lol. I just out and checked my pile of stuff. I've got a new 12 pin KUNDO full circle crank I could let go of if you need it. 12 pin all metal 80mm rod small spline small taper

Athena modular and malossi rhq is in my opinion one of the best basis' you can think of when building a midrace engine. You don't need wiseco pistons perse but its probably what you're used to use. You can also throw in a $$$ carillo rod but it's not nessecary. The vertex piston is perfectly fine and has a flat dome. I don't think wiseco makes flat dome pistons in 47.6mm.
Add a yasuni c16 and a 21mm dellorto and you're at about 15HP. Add some ex port timing, a 24/28mm carb and a yasuni c21 and you're seeing 20hp.
That crank can handle 20hp all day any day.

The blue scoot is stock cylinder with 17mm carb and zx pipe. It is peppy but doesn't touch the 90. I have a 3rd roller jog that is a mess, mAybe I will put the new engine in it..hmmm stay tuned!

I think agree with what you say. When I built my first scoot engine I was angry because it didn't sound like my atvs, I didn't realize some pipes have baffles in then 15 hp will do for a bit, I want to bolt on, tune and ride. When does the magnetic pick up stop working? From what I've read about 12k you need electronic pick up?

That jog with the 90 has got to be a sweet ride[/quote definitely is! It's got a lot of mid range power and will wheelie up to about 30-40 mph! I still don't know how it turns 10k with 8.5:1 gears a Mhr over range and doesn't hit 70mph? ?? It's fun to commute on though

I got on the speed list with 63 mph so I would say top.speed is close to that. But it's fun from 10mph to top speed!
