Got a cvt on there..Need pipe, water pump, digital ignition maybe a carb. Guess I should start working on the frame. I would like to get a nice front suspension. I could weld a new one on but first things first.

I have never ran an aftermarket clutch, don't much see the need for it. If you can pull a wheelie at 30mph is there a point? I can tell the 3 puck stock clutch hits harder than a 2 puck stock.

It'll run great with stock iggy,if youve got a timing light, shoot for 12 to 15 degrees...

Any idea what the timing/durations were on that cylinder? I'm curious as to how crazy or mild they are on a cylinder like that.

I dont, sold it after i got rid of it with my vw drag ride. Think it will keep up with my 90? I can degree the stator. To retard i turn counter clockwise, correct? I massaged the cases to match cylinder. What type of power you tbink i will get out of this thing? Shoukd i go with the polini for race? Have checked durations but have .75 of piston clearance. Should be some good compression, hope duratins are good so i dont have to change anything.

If you move the stator counter clockwise, its advancing the timing..15 degrees BTDC is about all a 2T can stand before melting down at high RPM's...

15 degrees at powerband peak is the limit. Below the PB peak and in low RPMs, advance can be as high as 30° btdc. But keep a real good eye on temps!!! And the conrod+bearings get a huge load in those situations! Only apply whit racing cranks, otherwise it wont survive long.

Athena cylinders are timed just perfectly for a semi race, super fast street build. 10/12k rpm powerband range. If you shoot for yasuni 21 rpms upp the ex timimg to 195-198

I have the mhr crank, never start a expensive build with a crappy crank! Thanks for the info, what do you guys run for temp gauge? Head temp is preferable i think,i was going to get tto gauge. Have to get another rpm gauge as well. I just hope it isnt a disappointment, i hope it runs harder than my 90..i dont have a way to set the timing curve so will likely set stock flywheel to 10-12btdc?

I got a prius water pump, i could hook direct to battery but prefer to hook to accessory so only when key is on. Any advice on what wire to tap into? Or put the ground on the ignition and power wire to the battery? Does pump push or pull better? I think pull? Pump is shape of a snail, does it matter which nipple is intake and which is outlet?

Your are better off using switched ignition instead of directly to the battery for the pump. Use a volt meter and find which wire from the ignition has power with the key on. The pump I'm using draws under .5 amp. It's best to mount the pump low in the cooling system pushing to the motor. Less work, less heat on the pump. These are not self priming so they need to be "flooded" You'll have to figure which is in and out. They are meant to flow in one direction. If it's this pump the fitting on the side should be out. www.ebay.com/itm/272284419424
