I believe the China Mina engines are not "matched" cases, they all fit crappy! The 90 case half is a deal as it wont require any machine work to fit the big jug and crank, the left half will still need to be though,OR find complete 90cc atv cases.Welding the ears back on the old one will likely cause warpage...

Sorry, I shouldn't assume that they do things properly in China

I've replaced and swapped up case halves a few times. Only the last time did I have a slight issue: the intake bolt holes almost didn't line up with the reed block - but I got it in.

Here's one of my factory "matched" engines... Did the crank run true with that case? I wouldn't have thought so.

It went for over 4,000 miles without issue. Never actually checked it for true, but no odd vibrations or anything.

I broke out the TIG welder after separating the cases, and welded the "ears" back on the fan side of the case. I don't think it turned out too bad, considering it was aluminum. What do you guys think?

Question for you folks. It's a sensitive subject, so send me the answer in a PM. We don't want everyone knowing how to do it I'm wondering what the correct way to bypass the key is. I want to convert Speedy over to use a simple on/off switch. I know at least a few of you have done this already, so let me know!
