Speedy saw 10,800 RPMs on the tach today! didn't think that was too bad considering it's not even CLOSE to being anywhere near in tune. But it proved that the CDI isn't restricted.

Played around a bit in the rain and got a decent burnout out of her :laugh: :burnout: She's coming together! Got a bit more work to do this weekend, along with some testing on a strip longer than my driveway, and I'll be set for next weekend :thumb:

So did you do this on a stand or just in the driveway? That is darn high revin for an OEM 49cc. Or is it the OEM cylinder? Aftermarket 49cc? Either way, good work :cheers:

Has anybody had an issue with the TTO tach where it flashes "Error" and then flashes all 8's and then turns off completely? Mine did that this morning and I haven't been able to get it to come back on.
Other than that, I had a good day. Made probably 50 passes. We took another video before this one, but it somehow got deleted, so we went for another pass and it started running out of gas. Hence the stuttering you hear.

Speedy is moving right along. It sounds like some stiffer springs or lightening the shoes might be beneficial to your holeshot if it still does that when it's got plenty of fuel. That's a sweet test strip you've got!
Never had any trouble with my TTOs.

That's a sweet test strip you've got! Never had any trouble with my TTOs. I'm running 2000 clutch springs with the stock torque spring. That bog at the beginning only happened after I threw the bigger rear tire on. It doesn't happen with the low profile tire. I just don't think I have quite enough CC's to push it off the line yet :laugh:

Sounds good man! If you dont get the tach straight by Sunday just run it! Heck i ran my stock crank to over 12,000 a bunch and it never failed. Still use it on an engine.. I wouldnt worry about over reving if that it?..

I'll switch rollers and go out for another run and see if it makes a difference, etc. By the way, do you have any spare rollers I can borrow at the track? I'm kinda low on them, and I can't find any online that would really be here in time for race day.

What size are you using? I have a 15x12mm S6 tuner kit on the way, should be here tomorrow. I will bring it along unless you are using another size?
