Oh crap! Man that sucks. But good that you're back. I ordered a SS182 gauge and guess what... yeah, I need a mount plate. Does your buddy still does work for a pack of beer or two?

Sorry mate, but his landlord tripled the rent and he had to close up. I'll see if I can get the .DXF file for you at least. Took it to the meet up, it even made a new 3 wheeled friend

Raizer How is it going over there? Snowing already? I got my SS182 gauge and I was wondering how did you mount the magnets and how did you setup the whole speedo sensor stuff? You got 2 of those gauges right? One for the Suzuki and one for the Gyro? Close up pics of both scoots speedo setup would be very helpful.

Think there's been bits of snow down south so far, I'm fairly coastal and we don't seem to ever get any within an hours drive.
On the Gyro I ordered some neodymium magnets that fit in the disc mount bolts, which is the way to go imo.
Suzuki I used the clip in magnets that came with the first gauge, had to turn up a third one and drilled the disc to suit, wasn't fun!
Will take pics tomorrow for you.

I'm looking to do some similar type tuning but to a Honda NV50 Stream here in the UK You mention a oil pump modifcation halfway on, I already have a malossi 70cc kit but wondered if you had anymore info or links to upping the oil output ? Cheers Dave

Have done almost nothing with this, really need to sort out why changing from a cheap ALBA variator and stock clutch on a ZX pulley to the Malossi vari and atage6 clutch took top speed from close to 100k with belt travel to spare (too light rollers with the light worn out Honda contra) to 55k max. Also need to find a solution to the foot board plastic not holding paint!!! Did ride it at least once though, had to get it out to park up with "the mothership" BMW C1

No kiddin, I have personally never seen one, and I can only image the accidents that would cause around here with ppl rubbernecking! For that matter, I have never seen a stretched and/or GY6 Ruck around here either, other than my own.

Haha, like you can't prove big foot exists until you shoot one and bring it home.

I'll pre-appoligize if this post gets a bit scrambled, there's a couple different time frames going into it haha When I posted the pic with the lights lurking I was facing a self imposed embargo on posting updates, there is a big club ride happening this coming weekend that I think I mentioned so I decided I wasn't going to post anything until I made an appearance there, so as long as Kicker or Lum don't go cross posting this I think I can share it here lol So going back to the issue with the forks not clearing the plastics, the way I saw it I had 2 options which were A: go back to a stock leading link fork with drum brake etc and save the AF35 set up for a future build. Or B: man up and chop up some rather expensive plastics with an equally expensive paintjob on them! We all know A was never really an option right? So once I had put it off as long as I could and all the wiring, controls, cables etc were tucked in and zip tied in place etc and I ran out of things to do I had to man up... *Gulp* Copied the cut onto card so I had a template for the other side and cut that too Paint hasn't stuck to the plastic though!!! Will have to repaint it in the near future Did you have to modify the frame to fit the dio forks or only the plastics. I just bought a dio front fork for my 1984 gyro x. Thanks

Did you have to modify the frame to fit the dio forks or only the plastics. I just bought a dio front fork for my 1984 gyro x. Thanks From memory I had to weld a steering stop onto the frame, otherwise no mods needed. 1984 is a pretty early one, has it got a steel panel under the plastic on the front?
Like this:
If so that needs a bit of cutting, beating and a couple welds to clear. /I went to a later frame not long after this pic was taken, this frame is my black hack "Plan B" now
Edit: looks like you have a 10" front wheel yeah? How sure are you it's an 84, the early models had 8" front wheels.
Oh yeah, you need an AF56 Dio (4 stroke model) stem, if you want to turn more than a few degrees anyway.

I don't actually have that metal piece on the front of mine it's set up like my 2008 I got for parts. As far as the year of it I'm just going by what the insurance here in Japan put on my paperwork. Could be newer, they just put it was a 1984
