Sounds to me like he was confirming that yes, Rick still does own scrappydogscooters. Look, myself personally, I don't care if he does still own it. I'm guessing he probably took on a partner. No big deal either, just tell people, don't try and give an impression that it's all someone else's problem now. And yes, undeniably there were issues with orders in the last few months. I wouldn't call that and end all definitive to the service you can expect. I have ordered from SDS several times and have always gotten what I ordered in a timely manner. I can't, and won't discount all those times when things went right because at one point things were going wrong for the store. Gotta give them time to fix the problems and turn it around back to where they used to be. I understand frustration in being ripped off, but why belabor the point about it? Personally, I have taken scrappydogscooters off of my list of vendors (for now). Not that I'm in the market for scooter parts at this point, but still, I wanna see some turn around to the current issues people are facing before I consider returning as a customer. There really isn't a reason to give the benefit of the doubt until others have reported back good results and dealings. And you might knock this website for talking about what is going on, but tell you what... I'd rather read other views on it from a forum then go by any reviews posted on it by people on scrappydogs social media pages. Nothing personal, it's just common sense.

agreed eclark5483, things happen, and comparing scrappy parts and that site, and comparing RnD parts and the new site, they are night and day difference, and now they are into high performance motorcycle parts, and have a retail site on Sunset blvd. Did Rick say or deny he didn't own RnD Moto? I don't see that anywhere, in fact, all I see is him stating that he is moving to Utah and starting a new business, and public records are indeed public. I don't see anything anywhere that shows Rick was hiding, or running away from anything

He puts words in my mouth by changing my quoted statement and inserting his own, then doesn't reply to the question, did "peascreek" rip off Scrappy? ....yes, he did, and still a year and a half ago he's still angry at them for them letting him keep the part, refunded him the money, and refunded the shipping cost? Whoa, again, what a dirt bag, and here you're trying to drag down others into your dark little hole that you "live" in

If you think you're some sort of investigative sleuth because you are able to use google to access publicly accessible records of ownership, you're even nuttier than you first appear. As for this clown with his incessant rant and obsession with Rick Main, and his buddy (peascreek), who ripped off Scrappy over a year ago (check the archive in this very forum), go get a life other than going to the mailbox to get your welfare check. Sure Rick, of course, it's all "fake" despite the TWO state issued business licenses, and Paypal's payee name and business name all pointing directly to Rick and his obvious involvement with RnD Moto, their PayPal account and domain. I checked every one of the profiles of those 7 reviews, only one even had a motorcycle on it at all, but then there was this one with about a 70 year old woman who posted nothing on her timeline for a year other than updating her picture, no scooter content at all, and her last post she made on her timeline over a year ago was a two line reply, now suddenly she pops up out of the blue to post an entire paragraph of review on a MOTORCYCLE page??? she doesn't strike me as a motorcycle rider! Sorry if I don't buy the validity of that, she's some employee's MOM asked to post there, LOL! I never claimed to be a big internet "sleuth" but I know how to find facts and records with very little effort and put two and two together and make them equal four instead of three. I frankly don't care what you claim they are doing, Rick did what he did to many people, including myself, and forced Visa and Paypal to take action to refund their customer's lost funds. The funds refunded back to me by Paypal has the payee name of RnD Moto and Rick's email address because that was where the funds WENT to back in May. I was pretty much wrapping things up on this as I already had gotten a refund from the Paypal dispute after there was no response to them, but I'm going to say this just once dude- move on!, because if you want to declare "war" and continue attacking me, then I'm going to start posting my full review along with all of the documents on every single business review site and scooter forum and blog I can get my hands on, and that's a promise.- the documents don't lie, fake five star reviews by people with no scooter content and who have little content on their timeline- does lie. I work full time but I will certainly find time to pursue it, so I might suggest you just mosey on out and leave the driving to us. I don't need, or have Peascreek or anyone else "directing me", nor is anyone else on this forum leading my hand and no one here has anything to do with MY complaint or fact finding efforts, instead, I am one who paid for an order never received, who had to waste my time and 3 weeks waiting for PayPal and Visa to investigate, watch them give Rick two weeks to respond which he never did, and then refunding my money, meanwhile I had to go find parts I was waiting on- elsewhere, like partskit.com who had everything I needed, I also purchased a new crate engine. I don't buy your claims about anyone here "ripping off" scrappydog at all, if a refund was given to him or anyone else by Paypal or Visa then THEIR investigation(s) sided with the customer based on the documentation and proof provided to them, other complaints of a similar nature no doubt would have helped them make a determination. Rick= the "R" in RnD Moto

I don't see anything anywhere that shows Rick was hiding, or running away from anything RnD's own people claimed in their response to the BBB complaint AND to me in a messenger chat that they simply bought Rick's INVENTORY and that they were a "new business"- that was their claim; So THEY have claimed they are "new" and only bought Rick's inventory, and if that was true then THEIR state newly issued business license wouldn't have RICK's name on it! and the PayPay payee refunding my money wouldn't have RnD Moto on it as the payee EITHER since that PayPal acct was HIS at scrappydogs. So either Rick victimized THEM, or he's still part of it, which is it?

taken on all the backorders from scrappy and fulfilling them, or giving free upgrades, or refunding them. Like the "upgrade" they did to someone here sending him a different big bore kit than the specific size he ordered, basically substituting for what was out of stock? Good that they are refunding money then if that's the case, because that's the only way to stay in business- fixing the wrongs whether it was their own doing or they "inherited" it from a business purchase. this guy seriously needs something to do with his life other than this obsession with "Rick Main".... My obsession as you call it, is with CHEATS, LIARS, THIEVES, CON ARTISTS and RIPOFFS (especially when one directly affects ME) I thought you were going to "mosey on out" and move on, Rick, I already have another scooter forum bookmarked that already has a thread about you and scrappydogs to post my review to if you want to keep at this, up to you!

yep, publicly established a new business with his real name, posted on public forums his intention to move the business under a new name, establish a completely new inventory and continues to fulfill back orders from a past business at his expense...real fraud and cheat. again, get a life dude..you're no sleuth or crusader, and put down the gameboy joystick and do something with yourself other than walk to the mailbox from your mothers basement to collect your welfare check

Rick is on site now at RnD Moto in St. George and easy to find at the major intersections of Sunset Blvd and Dixie Blvd, and the phone number is publicly posted as 435-216-1092 try giving him a call tomorrow and produce whatever "logic" you have to give, or show up perhaps?

Rick is on site now at RnD Moto in St. George Good for you Rick! Now you just ADMITTED on public forum that RnD Moto is NOT a new business who simply bought INVENTORY as they CLAIMED to me and to the BBB in their response that is now public record on the BBB web site! (screenshot attached) you really know how to dig in deeper!! The "we took over Scrappy inventory this is not the same business" is telling. Keep going with this it's priceless!

RnD had a motorcycle / scooter meet and had a bunch of riders there having a good time reading your insane posts on facebook and on this forum, which doesn't say much for this forum, but I guess freedom of speech and opinion applies to even crazy crap like this. I wish that things wouldn't get so nasty. I'm a fan of facts. Name calling, talking about living in mom's basement or collecting welfare, and any of that is not something that grown people should be doing to each other. I'm not saying just you, I mean anyone involved in this. I understand that emotions get involved unfortunately. We're all guilty of it to some degree at some point. I'd greatly appreciate if anyone reading this could make an effort to keep it a bit more cordial or neutral. If there's one thing I can almost guarantee, it's that calling each other names will solve exactly nothing and makes everyone involved look a little worse. That said; if people can't post their experiences with scooter parts dealers on scooter forums, then how is anyone to know who is good and who is bad. Scrappy and any other businesses have had no complaints when good reviews sent business their way, but the negative reviews should disappear? You have to take the good and the bad. There will always be some undeserved reviews either way most likely, but I believe most reviews posted by forum members are honest. When opinion gets involved it can be tough, but the review here about being a "winner" is a good example of facts. The poster even shows the package to prove what they're saying.
