You know my phone number and I can always ring you back at one of those things called 'pay phones'. My Trac phone works fairly good for cheap emergency use. Internet is horribly costly but there is always the library computers and places with free wi-fi if you have anything to connect to it. I don't have a smart phone so I don't know how they work with wi-fi.

ok, thanks guys ; Im going to the elec . store in a couple of hours to see if they have right size o rings for blue lights etc. . when the lights came I took 1 apart to check it out . was careless when I put it back together ; didn't pay close enough attn. - put o ring on wrong side of lens and tightened it down . when looked at it yesterday and loosened it - glass was grinding and inside cone where LED sits is small pieces of lens. blah. cleaned it out good - I think lens is still usable with no ill effects gonna look for new o rings tho . picked up 1 3/8" hole saw yest. will see how it works . Question : where do screws go after removing? Twilight Zone? 5th Dimension? update- screw returned! measured/compared with caliper- hole saw and threads- same basic size - too close to call. I'll also be looking for mating connection plugs/connectors at Skycraft Elec. and silicone flat washer . I found exact lights at - www.amazon.com/IRONWALLS-Motorcycle-Projector-Headlight-Spotlight/dp/B07MX2DVKR?SubscriptionId=AKIAIEYUINDFG5I5QSYA&tag=cailhq-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07MX5KYRH&th=1sent email asking about replacement lens, alum. washers' and silicone washer. prolly not worth it tho .

yeah sadly idk if youd be able to source replacement parts since everything comes in a box from china but hey they were free so some scuffs and scrapes shouldnt matter too much for testing and if you really like new ones are pretty cheap to say the least if it becomes an issue. so long as the center 80% is still clear you should be good to go. drive.google.com/file/d/0By2rcNqfITkKYUlrUmtTM25kZTA/view?usp=sharing as you can see the outside edge doesnt affect light output too much anyways.

Yeah , I agree totally, only reason I would like to have factory washer to help secure it to bracket. not really sure yet if my fab will work . will know soon, maybe today . see , the hole I cut in alum. plate will go on over threads on light; would be great to have threaded washer on each side. I too doubt they can be had from seller. you can't see damage to lens when it's in the light and it tightens down securely - but I won't over tighten .
If I ever get it mounted you guys can help me with the wiring.

youd be surprised how tight those things screw down when you put them in i wouldnt worry too much. they never came loose on me and my scoot vibrates everything loose including the screws in my head. so long as the hole isnt too oversized youll be fine. every time i had to remove them they were tighter than when i put them on. you could remove the silicone seal and just clamp it that way. stick a zip tie behind the metal nut if your that worried and it cant back off. that silicone seal acts like a lock washer of sorts and even if i barely put it on by hand to make my life easier later on id need channel locks to get it back off. its the same stuff that holds your front forks on and axle hubs on heavy duty 1 ton and 3/4 ton trucks just doesnt have a ratchet locking nut and those only torque to 50 fl lbs and go through lots of abuse.

O-rings can be found at auto supply stores.
Pay phones still exist. There is one at my local 7-11. Hole saws usually cut slightly oversize, drill bits usually cut oversize also.
Magnetic parts dishes are available at HF. A magnet works also.

they are a pretty funky size silicone ring for the projector lens on those but you may get lucky since more cars have o rings. its around 2 inches around

Ok , got this far last evening . my neighbor has a big ,big vice he said I can use to put a 90 on these pieces . after he gets home from work. In the meantime I can change out the plug ends for some other type of connector since I couldn't find any mates for the plugs at elec. store. run to Ace and pick up some stainless metric #4,#5 bolts and nuts. decided to go ahead and cut some big pieces of 1/4" silicone to use as a flat washer. works great , like you said they're really tight.

you must be missing something what side of the starter solenoid did you pull power from if thats where you pulled power? one side only has power when starting the engine the other side should always be hot. i made this real quick incase there was an issue there with the wiring.

well looking back- this thread is kinda all over the place . I 'm not working on things at the same level as most of you guys and I guess I get a little anal with all the little stuff that I'm doing. so be it . here goes. Anyway ... I'm starting back on the conversion to naked. I still have a couple of items that haven't got here yet but I have plenty I can do besides the harness re wire . I got the taillight assy and tail end of the harness done this morning. I bought 2 of those strobe blinker lights for the rear assy. and a new harness for the whole back end lights ; but- the little retaining nubs on the bulbs don't line up with the new socket - so I did some surgery on the sockets- then, the new harness and the sockets don't mate with the socket holes in the old light/fender assy. - so , had to figure a way to install sockets . GROMMETS. worked great. had to shave a little off the ID of the ones for the blinkers but not the larger one for the brakes
all 3 fit nice and snug ; don't think anything further is needed . as long as the grommets don't melt. think I'm ok there tho
