Conversion To Naked 150cc & Digital & LED To Boot

well I've been working on the wiring and today I removed the blinkers so I could get started with the new headlight mounts/brackets. most all of the previous headlight stuff I did is going away. here's some pix of some of the wiring I've been doing ; followed by the work on the mount for the headlight.

old harness and the primary ground I made up- but didn't like . wasn't satisfied.so made another. also, some of the stuff I bought way too much of - before I found places to get it in smaller amounts.

I took the cluster apart just to make sure this one wire is for the speedo











can anybody tell me what this cannister does that I took out of the cluster and will I need it with the new headlight system and or the new Koso multi gauge or new handlebar left and right switches?

here you can see my hydraulic brake - for bending metal. that's the one with the blue handle ; along with my system for bending. came out way better than I thought it might. Thursday I'll start on the other one for the other side of the black ring . they aren't the same dimension/shape - cause all the holes around the black ring aren't opposite each other .










I hope you guys will comment and let me know how I'm doing . suggestions , advice welcome.

I decided that mount bracket I just made is too small and if I make it wider I can make both brackets the same and it will be uniform . I made these 2 tonight.When I get the ring mounted I'll mark the pointy corners and cut them off.

i think that little canister may be the flasher relay. i could be wrong but it looks alot like them.

aaahh ok , thanks. hadn't thought of that. so then I'll need to keep it . more research .

1st pic; I needed some way to make both brackets move together at the same height. this is what I came up with .



2nd pic checking to see if bolt holes line up and centering the ring on the brackets.

still have a ways to go. cut off pointy wings ; make it a circle like the black ring. wait on funds, wait on paint, black bolts . Take it all apart scuff everything so it holds paint. get some aluminum etching primer/paint. also got to figure out how I'm gonna make a cover for it , keep the water out. I got a couple of ideas.

tomorrow I'll got back to work on the wiring harness.

I have been kind of sick and out of it as you know but it all looks good

btw- my main phone seems to kinda work, it takes forever for the phone network to find it and ring it but

now if i can stay awake long enuf to talk...

Thank you Milly and Frankenmech ; I was pretty worried it was gonna be a big monstrosity but I think it's gonna look all right . I swear I think the hardest thing is running out of funds and having to wait a while for more this and more that.

I'll give it a few days before I call you . you call me whenever you feel like it. don't forget to keep those neck terminals clean.
