John I might need one of those custom Reed blocks for my build😉😉👍👍 ct Mani and a kx65 Reed block and carb boot would be pretty close. The carb would be at a slightly funny angle haha.

Got the cases assembled, went to check final cyl/head/squish assy and found a super sloppy fit between the head and jug..Did a dirty dowel fitment using a 5/16" center drill in the drill press, used 5/16" aluminum tube for dowels, worked out kinda spiffy! My hand made 'sheet metal intake' had some warpage due to welding on the bottom flange, just couldn't sand it out,,Mixed up some JB weld and filled the low spot and it is now flat like this planet! John u aiming with lining straight up with Mani insteaded off the angled setup?

Right!"The path of least resistance"Reed is pointed straight into the port duct,,problem is before the reed the carb must be mounted,so we have either a straight shot carb mount hanging out in the left lane of traffic,or an angle adapter to point the carb aft(flow restriction)..I'll be trying both ways if this project ever gets finished due to my work load...

Shoot if it shows good enough gains I'd go for the carb sticking straight out, probably look crazy but that's how we roll in the "brappp" scene!!! Lol

Been looking into carb mounting myself. Pointing the carb directly inward puts it obstructing the CVT cover, but I could live with that.
