Your Refurb skills is a very impressive craft! Thanks man! Means a lot to me!! I'm giving my best to hone my skills. Still, a lot more to improve. Today was a good day, managed to paint the frame and the friend who is building my exhaust on my second project told me he finished it. For the frame I picked a metalic grey.

I agree. what magical bottle of cleaner are you using on these? I want 5 bottles of it! lol progress is looking really good man. I really like that 2 into 1 exhaust on your other build as well. very cool. do both pistons on that Suzuki in sink (both up both down), or is it opposed (1 up 1 down)?

harleyracer59 hey man! How's it going? Thank you for the kind words. I really need an aqua blaster to clean the parts prior to buffing. Bad thing about hand polishing is that it requires a lot of elbow grease, but the result always gets me happy. My other project is a single cylinder, 250cc, 4 valves and 20 little ponnies. But it has two exhaust ports, looks nice. Cheers!!

Can’t speak to quality, but they sure are pretty! Indeed they look pretty. Probably for the moment I'll stick to the standard triple tree so i can gather some more info in the meantime...ofc, first I'll finish the casted surface a bit. Maybe I'll powder coat it for a nicer finish.

Seller sent me a picture of the triple tree in the desired color. Can't wait to finish it so I can enjoy it on the road.

Since I didn't had an exhaust for my scoot, the original one was rattling inside and was heavy as lead...the paycheck just rolled in...well I got the perfect excuses to buy myself a Tecnigas Next R. It is advertised to work on 50-70cc cylinders and designed for Kymco & Sym vertical cylinders. Upon reading the list of compatible scooters I found a comprehensive list of Honda scooters. In theory it is a bolt on for my scoot. The problem is that the right side fairing needs to be trimmed for the exhaust silencer to have enough room when suspension works. I was thinking...can the silencer U bend / flange be cut and welded in a straight line with the expansion chamber, without affecting the performance of the exhaust? Something similar to this one: Cheers!!

Yes you can,but the unsupported muffler can cause cracking so some reinforcement will likely be needed,,

You could also cut the pipe where the u bend enters, just to the right of the weld. Rotate the u bend to another position in front of or below the pipe and weld it back up. Then cut the silencer mount off and re weld in its new position. This is a pipe for a piaggio I modified to fit my Kymco AF16 variant.
