Color looks ok Did it seize ? Or make weird noises ? What were your temp rang on your gauges ? Did you lose a clip or something like that ? Well the temp gauge died the other day and I haven't gotten a battery, so temps are unknown. The only weird noises was It changed tone from kinda rich to waaaaaa, IE loud AF like its lean this morning on my ride to work. Was still waaaa like lean this afternoon. It was in ghe 60s all day today. It did "seize" when it died today, but it was free when it coasted down from 50. But also was too free kicking over. Meaning felt low on compression. Also did the hard loud pop threw the exhaust complete with blowing the leaves on the ground once. And it still won't start now. So I'm expecting that the rings are fixed to the piston like ive done before.

I had something like that happen with my exhaust. Hit a deep pot hole drove for about a half mile and the tone of the exhaust changed and my temp gauge was climbing faster even as I was decelarating and Juicing the Throttle. I kept it from seizing . Nursed It to a friends house . I had knocked a exhaust bolt loose Which gave me a exhaust Leak .

I actually did have to tighten an exhaust bolt today before I rode home was only loose a turn or 2 but was a leak, maybe that F'd me?

That would do It . If I could not tell from the sound that I had a problem My temp went up like 20 degrees in like 5 seconds . And these Gauges have just a couple second lag and It kept going up . I Got of the Throttle and kept her below 300 as I nursed her to a friends house . Anything over 30 mph and My temps started rising too quick. I was running 30-40 degrees hotter than normal at that throttle position .

That sucks. It was going so well. I wonder what caused the exhaust gasket to blow?

Wow that really put a hurt on that cylinder . If you got some oven cleaner you can try to salvage the cylinder. Exhaust and air leaks are so dangerous

That sucks. It was going so well. I wonder what caused the exhaust gasket to blow? I'm thinking it blew because of it was a thin gasket that come from a Polini gasket set instead of the thick one that comes with the Yasuni. And I used the thinner one cause the one that come with the Yasuni is messed up, the bolt holes have tore out.

As i putting my next engine build list together, the nagging feeling that I need better gauges won't leave my mind. Now this dash is what I want but it seems like anytime that Scootertuning.ca gets any of these Stage6 gauges in stock they sell like dope. But while going threw eBay getting new parts for my Kymco, I found this A tiny tach/temp may have to be settled with. Kinda wish the KOSO tach/temp/EGT wasn't $293 or had a speedo and fuel cause included

I bought a cheap Tach that takes watch batteries . Should have bought the trail tech with the 4 year battery. The trail tech temp gauge works very well . You will need to get the extension so you can mount it up by the dash .

Small update. Getting ready to buy Crank install and case splitter tools. Waiting to see if my $80 offer gets accepted. Also kinda hoping the PFS gets exhaust studs and wrist pin bearings back in stock by next week. If so then those along with a Naraku crank bearing/seal set. Although I may reuse the Polini wrist bearing I currently have. I'm also looking into getting a Hoca 41.4 stuffer/mini stroker crank.
As for the cylinder for this build, I'm still in undecided. Thinking about staying AC for simplicity. But liquid cooled could/should be more reliable, especially dealing with summer heat in Delaware, 90 up to 100+ degrees. But liquid cooling requires buying and then fitting radiators. Not a big deal really but I would like to put a body back on Becky and that could pose the problems. Baccio runner & Tao Vip/MVP have really compact bodies. Anyways, my next thing is, I'd like to reuse my pipe but the Yasuni R kinda limits me to about 11k rpm. I've been looking at getting a Sport Pro MKII or the Athena Sport 70 (They appear to be the same kit based on port maps) and I've seen them able to run to to around 12 or 13k. I don't think the R would say "hurt" the MKII but it would definitely limit performance which is not what I want to do.

dam just seen that cylinder i was thinking of doing the liquid cooled but your talking a fair bit on parts by the time you get radiator, pipe work , water pump and new topend but think i will just put off doing it my self to im back at work as we are still in lockdown over here but for you being in delaware thats some summer heat out there so i would go with liquid cooling as i feel ac is fine for stock bikes but as soon as you start getting a high reving pipe and bore kits you get some mega heat

Well I do believe I've got 08 Zuma cases to rebuild for Becky. Bought an 08 Zuma yesterday and the motor spins over forward but not backwards, even with the jug off. Seems to have spun a bearing.
