Nice cap, I see you got a new cluster instrument. You should be a lot happier with a cluster that doesn't flicker and go on and off when it chooses.

The directions are in very bad English. Over half of the written programming doesn’t make sense even if I try to use alternate words. The “oil” meter is actually the fuel meter. Several wires listed do not exist, the “speed signal” wire is the wrong color and is for the tachometer. Last night I got turn signals, high beam, constant voltage and key on voltage, tachometer and fuel all sorted. Today I need to glue the magnet to the wheel and run the sensor wire. Fitting it into the dashboard will require some black plastic magic and some sawing. Perhaps even some black caulk to hide the edges.

Most people probably wouldn't realize it's not original equipment.

It’s alive. Still calibrating the speedometer but it seems like 1430mm/revolution is about right with Black Box phone GPS.

Well I rode 18 miles tonight. Beebopping around Dover, PA. Speedometer works ok. Gas gauge works ok. Clock, well that’s another issue. It doesn’t keep time and I looked tonight and it said 12:63? Eh, it’s weird. Of all the things to act weird it’s the digital clock. The headlights work great. Maybe too good. I’ve had a couple cars flash high beams at me. I can see just fine though even with their high beams on me.

That's cool how it changes colors just like the bintelli beast digital color changing speedometer.

I’ve been having starting issues. Starter has been laboring and the kick start is audibly turning the starter. Hmmm, this morning I dug into it and found the one way bearings were crusty and nasty. All better now.

I guess I’m getting enough belt travel. It’s either slapping or rubbing the case when it’s on the outter rim of the rear pulley. The front pulley is NOT running all the way out. Looks like I have 3/8” of travel left. Might have to study on this. On the bright side the kick start works better now than it ever has since I’ve owned it. Amazing what a little lubrication can do.

So a few times I’ve taken off from stop signs and speedometer has restarted. I think I have a loose wire the power or ground. I used crimp end with bullet connections so I could adjust if I needed to. Everything (except the damn clock) seems to work ok so I guess I’ll solder the connections and shrink tube everything.
Anybody have any advice on a thermistor for the spark plug?

The current gauge just says “temperature gauge” with no description. I’m not sure electrically what kinda signal it’s looking for. Perhaps ohms-> ground?
