Checking with Maxi to see if I can swap over to this: www.maxiscoot.com/en/product/exhaust-2fast-98cc-piaggio-nrg-zip-67907?vctype_id=13Before they ship out. Never really crossed my mind the detriment of running an exhaust designed for a smaller cylinder like that. I wanted to stick with S6 products but 2 Fast makes really similar stuff, and haven't forbid I detonate this S6 kit I'll be replacing it with a 2 fast cylinder In my opinion the 2fast parts are better than stage6 go all out rc-one cases and 100cc anything lol

And what is a good ignition setup for the 05 Piaggio with lighting coil/power output? I've found a bunch of racing ignition that have no output, but I want lights on this build but also want an ignition curve and need high RPMs on this build! I run a chargless ignition Malossi team2 digital has 7 maps can ajusts timing up to 10° either way and soft rev limiter, just run a chargeable lithium battery run lightsboff that easy to set up

The lighting isn't as good as they say, there should be a video of one of the admin setting one up one on his 86cc mybe its on you tube, its good that it has it. I just like being able to ajust ignition easly

Anyone have input on the best rear pulley option? Can't believe I completely forgot to order a rear pulley... I got a set of 15/38 gears to play with but looking for a pulley that will give the most top speed capacity I run polini evo3 134mm ceramic

I ended up going with the Malossi pipe, it's a big boy was too large to fit the S6 exhaust flange so I had to make a sleeve to compensate for the 1/8 inch gap! I went with the MVT because the kids were fighting me about having full electronics and I'd hate to have the lights die on them mid ride etc. I would love to have some different curves to play with however! I'm looking at the MVT EPROM VFI to go with this setup but not until I get the ignition to actually work

So I just got my replacement MVT stator from Scooter Swap Shop - and same problem. I have proper resistance on the Red&Black wire but I cannot get any voltage when its spinning. I get the exact same results as the above videos. What could I be doing wrong to stop a stator from outputting voltage???

I'm using this woring setup with a jog rectifier as suggested. I noticed I have bo resistance on the red wire when the key is on now.

I don't know what it was but I changed a few connections to the regulator and boom the new stator works! I set the timing at .5mm BTDC and she started up and ran! I have a long ways to go with getting the carb dialed in but I can't do that until I get the system plumbed tomorrow for cooling.

Alright so today I'm finally up and running! Still have some tweaks to make to the timing but I'm pretty close I think. Jetting the TMX 30mm carb will be fun, but right now at a 320 main and 20 pilot with clip in the middle I'm doing good. Little rich on takeoff but I've kept the clutch springs weak. However I've got a lot to learn about the CVT tuning Herr because I feel like I can't pull the belt at about 6k RPM. When the pipe hits and the powerband kicks I'm hitting a wall and I can't remember what weights I put in. Anyways carb tuning and CVT tuning go hand in hand so here is where I start my trial and error!

On your TMX what are you running for jetting? Curious if I'm on the right page, it feels like I'm close already but Mikuni carbs are deceiving in my experience and tend to rev out across a wide range of jets

Fun new addition to this adventure. I have been tuning this thing all day and took a 1/2 mile ride at the end of getting everything adjusted just to have the inner rotor of the MVT & the nut fly off. Mind you, the nut is the oversized nut from scooter swap shot that comes with their RC One mounting plate, so not a simple hardware store grab. But after buying a replacement stator I now need a replacement rotor. And yes, I used lock tight on the nut...

My own fault for being impatient, had I put the cover over the ignition I'm sure it wouldn't be gone. Got the new rotor on and putting some grinding compound on the shaft this time to hopefully mate them better. I'm still waiting on the replacement nut from scooter swap shop to be back in business. I took a look at the plug since the bike died on my first WOT run and it looks a bit light so I went up to a 340 main jet to see how that does. Throwing some pics up of the progress to follow
