It's a 4t. That guy bought them from a tow company that was selling the pair for $250 or $300. They said the scoots were towed after arrests and never picked up. Not sure how he would have titles.

I'd of done it if I knew the tow company had titles. The money to be made is gone now. I sent an email asking if he had Fl. Titles. No response.

How do you tune your carb dave? Using visual inspection or with feeling and experience? I see a lot of people reading sparkplugs, gauges, using jet reccomendations (stupidest thing you can do btw). Myself i tune it on feeling. Simulate various engine loads on various throttle positions and than see how the engine responds. Afterwards i do some plug readings and they always come out as they should be, coffee with milk. Never needed to look at a sparkplug for reference...

The cylinder is a Stage6 race mkii. I tune my carb by feel at first. Usually I try to start pig rich and work my way down on the main jet. When it gets to feeling good I'll keep going until it gets worse usually settling on the largest of the two jets that feel best. I do read my plug as verification of what I'm feeling. The CHT gauge is a good tool to have for confirmation as well. The weather has been cooling here and the humidity dropping. I believe that my recent up jetting after I installed the CHT gauge and saw the temps was due to weather and that I wasn't hitting those temps before the weather change in the last week. I'm not a pro but I believe the more tools I have, feel, plug, gauge the better. I don't think one is enough for me. The bike felt great with the 105 and the plug looked okay but I've seized a motor that felt great. Hell they run like crazy a little lean and I had a suspicion it was getting lean in the cool morning air. The temp gauge confirmed it.

Exactly as how i do it But i don't have technology to back up my feeling on the tuning. Never unintentionally seized a cylinder though... Do you think that CHT gauge helped you get your tune better? Did you need to change jets becouse of temp readings from that CHT? Did it ran better afterwards? Or do you have it just to watch the temperatures and to 'see' detonation or overheating before damage occurs?

I picked up the cvt cover and floor boards(metal mats) from the powder coater this morning. I think the cover is going to look nice with the S6 anodized orange kicker.

I got sometime to get the guts of the cover in. A pita when your worried about scratching it. I also put the metal floor board mats it whatever they are on. I've taken the cover off a few times while I try some sliders in the OR and it's holding up well. The bolts aren't marking or peeling the powder coat where the heads make contact like it did with the painted cover. The vents in the rear are large enough to adjust my clutch but the cover should be stronger since I left the bend or angle in place on this one.

Friday I swapped the single prong Bando coil I put in for a two prong Naraku that I had gotten from RP. The retro uses a single prong so the Bando went on it. This is now breaking up a little when I wrap the throttle. I'm going to check my connections but I'm wondering if anyone has had issues with these coils?

I relocated the coil under the bucket to a bracket that use to hold the oil tank for easier access. It's still breaking up at WOT. It's not awful but it ain't right so I think I'll be going back to a Bando.
