Hell should be, everything will be new even the charging system. Later on I might play with the gears, guy the owns a local shop stips down a lot of motors so I can get gears just have to pres them onAnd I 'll have a ranges of different ratios. But that's for a future project.

Well yesterday I installed a NCY 1000rpm contra spring, it brought my rpms up to 7500 to 8000 WOT. Take off would run up to 8500 to 9000 if I'd let it then down to 7500 maxing out the speedo. Then today I installed the NCY variator that is a lot lighter then stock, along with there aluminum drive face and changed out the 5gram sliders for some 7's. I figured the 7's would even out the spring and the lighter variator and drive face, take off at WOT runs to 8000 and drops to 7000 at change.. I like this setup cause I can back off about a 1/4 throttle and it'll still peg out the speedo, it'll stay around 7500 hit a good long hill and open it up and it'll bring the needle to the 50mph but I know that's not right.I also put the HOKA bearing sleeve back in spring and haven't had any problems, I think that 1500 spring I have is junk. Only other thing I'm gonna do is add a HOKA secondary sleeve that's on back order, I'm gonna run with this setup for a while cause I like how it wont run over 8000 rpm down hill at WOT. I like that cause I don't have to worry about over revving the motor,I want to find some better v-sliders then the OEM ones.

Parts For Scooters sells DrPulley slides (part # 151-234). Can't say they're anything spectacular, but I don't know what else is out there. They may be a little tight. I've had to file them before to let the variator move freely. Doesn't take much though.

Thinking about taking the motor off and doing the rest of the engine cove and doing the rear mud flap over the tire

I like it. Have you thought about painting something on the front that color to help tie it in? Maybe the brake caliper?

I have, ran out of paint. Thinking of doing the whole scoot that color and silver. It'll give me a chance to redo my decals and clear coat them with the paint.

Parts For Scooters has some pretty cool looking stuff, but they're $80-90 each. I got a front wheel in aluminum for mine on eBay barely used, but even then it wasn't far off of Scrappy's price on aluminum wheels (typical split/curved tri-spoke). I'm sure with enough time you could get a good deal on a pair on ebay or checking the forum classifieds. I have some crazy notion of polishing aluminum wheels one day. I did part of a set for my 2T and it takes a lot of time to do right, but it would look badass to do whole wheels.

I was thinking about the tri-spokes like I had on my Peace and painting them or Hydro dipping them but keep the polished lip on the spokes

Polished with those deep red accents sounds amazing to me, but it also sounds like a ton of work. Kinda like the stock style, in reverse. Your thoughts sound more reasonable.

Adds color and less polishing to have to do.

Time for some new seals, noticed oil under the CVT cover. Took it off to find a little trail coming from the crank. Any suggestions on a good set or will they oems be OK?
