I know those MXS kits rip hard. I met a guy in berkeley that ran a MXS cylinder on his prebug and it gave him nothing but trouble. He had a hard time tuning it and seized two of em. It seemed the margin for error with tuning is very small with the MXS stuff. Also, this scoot is a small Jog with a prebug swap so its a sketchy ride to say the least, so I dont want a pure rocket Im just hoping for 60mph with stock gearing, and Im going to change to a 130/70-10 from a 130/90-10 to help level the balance out.
I am considering a S6 MK2 or MK1 but I really want to try a Corsa for the reasons stated above and it'll be good for research purposes on this forum because a few ppl here already used an MKII and Athena Evo cylinders. and uhhh.... 21 it is!!

I installed that new pipe and played with the tune a little bit... Not that it would make a huge difference, but I can feel the difference in this pipe. It makes me excited to get a new cylinder to match it as soon as I pay some bills

Must be a wheelie machine with that rear wheel! Yea it can be... I want to try a 130/70 like you have on your prebug. It may balance this thing out a little better, it feels too nose heavy as is.

The 130/70 looks perfect on the Zuma wheel, imo. And I don't like the feel of a big balloon-y tire like the stock one.

we have some items to help this Polini pipe shine A corsa kit and a dell 21. This is my first venture into the land of Dellorto. I heard they can be a little tricky to tune but Im up for the challange. But before that I will mount the cylinder, and break it in with the stock carb before I start using the dell. I still need to order an intake filter, and a sleww of jets, and maybe some needles anyway. First of all I removed the disc under the main jet, because I heard horror stories about them. It came with 262 AU atomizer 40 slide 92 main W7 needle 60 idle (i think) Also, one question, so the jet in between the two is the starter jet??

I ripped the motor out of this to give to my prebug. Then it was sitting sadly on the garage floor as a pile of parts. I couldn't stand looking at it like that so I put it back together with a few little cosmetic changes. I added a proper taillight and got matching floorboard and trim panels. I kinda want to make this thing look nice but plastics are hard to come by for this thing now. I just threw the motor that came with my prebug on here for now (stock, abused, and not running), I'll give it some love once I get my prebug sorted. Here's how she sits today shodily thrown together awaiting my next move

I know the feeling. Just never enough time to sort everything out it seems. At least being a rolling chassis might get you more inclined to tinker.

Well that's a wrap on this one. I ended up trading this jog to a fellow for a honda ns50f.
